How have you set up your steam controller?
Hey I just received my Steam Controller and it feels way better to use than my Logitech HOTAS X52.
The main advantage of the Steam Controller seems to be the trackpads ability to be hooked up to radial menus like this picture. (So far i think the max is 2 menus)
I have been able to avoid using my keyboard to reach for extra buttons so far and i kind of hate having button combos.
Current Setup:
Left joystick: PITCH ROLL
Right joystick: Camera control
Left trackpad: Radial menu for landing gear, etc…
Right trackpad: Radial menu for radar
Bumpers: YAW
Gyro controls, Mouse Joystick (works like trim)
The gyro controls to handle the Mouse joystick really lets you do fine adjustments that is hard to do with a joystick. feels nice without SAS Damping too!
This is still very work in progress and this is just basic flight set up so far.
