New proposed br changes for rank 7/8

Im looking for feedback on my proposed changes.
I tried my best to balance the BR’s but if you have any suggestions let me know
The main idea behind this was…
-increase the top br and move everything up to allow for more changes down the road for lower tiered aircraft
-spread out top tier so that aircraft like the Tornado F.3 Late or F4F ICE arent fighting Eurofighters where they have little to no chance
-change loadouts for some aircraft that it makes sense for
I put the country
then the name of the aircraft, followed by the current Br in game, the proposed one, then any changes

i also made it so top tier with modern Medium Range Active Radar Homing missiles, like AIM-120 are only found at br 14.0-16.0

no. increasing everything’s Br won’t help anything only make it worse for a lot of players and also this is not the place to put this, they have threads already made for stuff like this

I think you decompressed 12.7-14.0 a bit too much, and you decompressed the 11.0 BR region way too much. Moving the top to 16.0 is the right step, but you forgot to decompress the 9.3 BR range which needs it the most.

There’s alot of weird BRs, like the F-5E and F-20 being 0.7 apart, yet the F-5C being an entire BR lower than the E, despite it being 0.7 worse at most.

The 21MF and bis shouldn’t be more than 0.7 apart.

Every single Tornados armed with 2 9Ls should be the same BR.

You ended up compressing the current 11.0-12.7 BR range more than it is, because now F-5Es, Su-22s, and others are more facing Mig-29s.

I really want to just tell ppl who makes “BR changes” as suggestion to just refer and study a lot about “O.7 Matchmaking range limit” because it just solves every problem war thunder has when it comes to balancing vehicle relative to their BR

And why is the FA2 a higher BR than the F14B?

It’s hard to argue for it to even be a different BR to the F14A at the moment, so should be 13.3 by this BR decompress.

AV-8B+ should be 13.7

A dramatic increase immediately wouldn’t work. It needs to be incremental.

Also,

For the Su-39, id much rather see it at 12.7 according to your list, but with R-77s or R-27s being added. As that is historically accurate

The F-15E going to 16.0 while F-14B only goes to 13.7 instead of 14.7 is wild.
Yak-141 not going to 15.3 with R-77s is also wild.
This list is pure nonsense and proof that mathematically 16.0 isn’t possible according to this very list.

I mean, F-5E going to 12.3 is proof enough.
As is Mig-29s being different BRs with the same loadouts.

The list is bad, all around. The feedback I would have to get multiple someones that knows balancing and analysis to bounce ideas back and forth with.

You can get to 15.0, but this list is not how you do that.

Your opinions are invalid to me. You’re very biased in favor of British dominance.

Especially since you seemingly don’t understand, you’d have to sacrifice other weapon systems to carry the other ones.

Would you rather have 12 Vikhirs or x2 R-27?

Would you rather have R-73s or R-77s?

Would you rather have ECM jammers and extra flare pods or R-60s?

That’s why only a slight increase is necessary if it gets those weapons.

Pair it with the fact you have to carry the radar with those other weapons, and if your fully loaded, your rather heavy.

I was only doing aircraft in ranks 7 and 8, i didnt touch any of the lower ones

yes its not perfect, i did it rather quickly which is why i was asking for feedback

i thought i did although i couldve missed some

i was putting anything with medium range ARH missiles at at least 14.0

it would get 4 max, and the r77 isnt great

the german and russian first mig29s are the same br

the German MiG29G with R27ER would be higher

yes

as i dont have access to stats to balance like gaijin does, i used my own personal experience flying most of these aircraft

16.0 is very possible if you decompress 8.3+, and not 10.0+. 15.0 is very easy to achieve by just decompressing the 12.3+ BR range, and it’s quite easy to find another 1.0 BRs of decompression elsewhere.

just study and make paper on 0.7 matchmaking bracket. this BR changes are too hard to be done because realistically most problem are related to how strong vehicle at 1.0 BR diff are.

FA2 even with AMRAAM is barely stronger than the F-14A at the moment, and at most, equal to the F-14B without Aim-9M. Certainly shouldnt be considered equal to the F3 late or superior to the F-14B with Aim-9M. Its loadout is mass of compromises. Its strongest loadout leaves it with no gun or IR missile

Maybe in the future if they ever fix the FA2, it could be higher, but still would be weaker than the F3 Late, especially if it ever gets fixed/finished too (and they both have the same major issue, BOL)
