Took us a decade just to be able to drag and drop things in lineup.
There’s probably spaghetti code limitations beyond our wildest comprehension why they may not be able to do that lol

I was expressing my opinion, not forcing it. I did nor write “let’s abandon the game”, I said I will, if they go further this path of nonsense.
So, I challenge you to show precisely where and how I was “forcing my opinion”. If you fail to do so (and you will, because… evidence), then I am perfectly entitled to assume that you are driven mostly by emotions, rather than facts and logic, so the relevance of your tirades is strongly diminished.
(note: “driven by emotions” is best case scenario, worse case would be that you are actually providing lip-service for your employers, I hope that’s not he case)
By whom? I truly would like to know when and where the players pushed for a change of playercards.

I have never seen anyone ever ask for a new playercard and the fact that not one person ive seen likes this new ui probably should say something about it!!!

Tbf, I have seen quite a lot of people asking for general UI updates (including player card) over the years.
What we have now still looks very much WIP.
I heard CC’s talking about lots of different things they were planning to add to it, so maybe if we just let the snail cook for a few weeks it might end up being alright.
If it’s still a downgrade then, then aye, time to be upset lol.

I think it looks nice, it just feels unfinished to me.
Once there is more information displayed in the main part, it would be so much better. The way it’s all laid out, seems like they are going to add stuff in the empty space to the sides.
Even in the current UI, some stuff has fallen victim to bad Gaijin UI design, such as the preferred mode selector. Why do I need to click on a small button in the right to see mode specific stats, instead of just clicking on the mode’s name? The custom loadout creator also has similar issues like that.

To be fair to them, seems like this update had a lot of teething problems and came a couple weeks later than they likely would have hoped.
Next major update is barely even a month away. They may overhaul it by then.
For all we know, they could be planning to return all of the original ‘face stats’ the OG player card had. Hard to tell what they’re cooking rn.
It just doesnt look right in comparison to everything else, old ui was simple with simple colors.

I think this is a similar case of the constant unwanted sound changes, the UI designer also needs to feed his kids
Even the new mini maps gained a chromosome… Give it two more updates and WoT will be the 2014 War Thunder compared to this

This is just so bad on normal monitors and hilariously bad on ultrawides.
My medals have been stripped off my chest and shoved in a drawer, there’s so much dead space, this is change for the sake of change and most frustratingly there’s no longer anything that shows how many vehicles I have researched and how many I’ve spaded.
I want my metals on the main page of my profile next to my stats, I want my ranking against other players, I want my vehicles researched and spaded shown.
Give the old profile back and scrap this.
If its not ready, if it it has less features than what players had before DON’T PUSH IT LIVE.

I didn’t either. But it is a common place/expression. Google it.
And no, I definitely not the same type of player as you. I do not need a new tank every month. And you could see that in my player card, how many tanks I have on every nation… err, wait actually you can’t do that any longer. Tough luck!
Yes, I was very disappointed when I saw that my medals were no longer directly displayed.

I could have sworn the idea behind this blank slate is to have users customize what their profile looks like, but as it is, you can only change what battle mode you want displayed which is…indeed disappointing.
