Silver lion rewards and XP (research points) are very low.
I finished the match 13/7 and took a loss in SL (i loss 14k) and only won 19k RP.
In a normal match I earn around 7k SL per aerial kill (with a premium account).
At the event I’m earning 5k, the repair of my fighter jet is almost 12k.
The old Nuclear Thunder mode was incredible as a game mode and, above all, rewarding.

I, with a KDA of almost 2.0, took a loss of 14k sl, that’s not right.
I paid to play this match even though been positive in KD.

For example, at that point in the match, I was 8/4 and i only had 9k SL in profit.

And facing other fighters is actually the least risky activity in the event; CAS, SEAD/DEAD, and anti-ship missions are far riskier, and consequently, the rewards are more punishing.

Another Gaijin L. They don’t seem to care about the glaring problems in the event just like last time.

Taking out anti-air units in this mode is much riskier than taking out aerial targets.
I bet those were the toughest 14K SL of your life.

It’s pretty easy with the KH-31/YJ-91A

Lets not pretend that this is accidental with the rewards. We know Gaijin just wants to limit the amount of people who play the mode and use those numbers to say “Look, the player base prefers the regular mode” as a justification to shelf this mode too. In reality people play the other modes to make SL since this mode bleeds you dry of it. im probably down 200k SL so far and ive been top 5 on my team every game.

Not when you’re on the American side, facing Buks and S-300s.

With the J-15 on the American side, I can barely take off from the aircraft carriers.
And I still have to face the Buk with 48cm.
I lose SL in every match too.

I’ve been on the US side with China, the YJ-91A can break through even the Buk spam and hit the TADS+TELAR with decent odds

and that’s just with 2 on the J-10C, I don’t have ARM for the 15T yet

I was making a minimum of 500k sl per match with my best match at about 1 million and now it barely covers repairs

You can still make 500k SL; you just need to get 70 to 80 kills.

Bump.

Just got done with a match AND with premium account. Ground attacking with F-111F in US.
40 minute match.
200,000 Silver at 51,200 loss (about 150k gain), which is fine and seems balanced.
11,000 RP ???

So after 40 minutes of doing my best, I didn’t even research 1 modification. Yep, all that work and didn’t get the next part unlocked. Keep in mind, the Air RB battles last me anywhere from 2 minutes to 6. The RP-per-minute on this mode needs to be raised significantly.

Lion rewards feel good now, RP definitely needs a lot of tuning though for sure, doesn’t feel equal to the time spent.

I was wrong, you have to do REALLY good to go positive on SL, but if you have a plane without IR guided AGM’s for example you’re signing up to be dunked on by BMP-2’s trying to take out any AA

Yeah, I’m probably 200-300k in the hole (bc I’m both skill issue-ing and also just playing for vibes) and rp has been worthless too. One hour forty minutes of gameplay amounts to less to than like 10-15 minutes of good arb gameplay
