Since players now give credit to the nearest vehicle in ground and naval as well as air, what’s to keep people from just J’ing out 3 times at the beginning of the match and collecting their rewards while watching videos or doing anything else while the match plays out? In testing, I can get about 600 RP for doing literally nothing but leaving my vehicle 3 times in rapid succession. It’s a hit to stats, so people may care about that, but it gives someone on the other team SL and RP, and requires zero effort.
Those who do this to avoid playing in matches should be reported for passive behaviour and removed from the player base if they keep doing it.
The new mechanic to handle the people leaving vehicles to avoid death was just scratching the surface of the players who are that fragile, and that upset, that they can’t handle being got.
I can see that happening. I just don’t think the reporting feature really does much unless someone takes the time to send in replays. It also seems to make a difference at what point you leave the vehicle. You could sit in the spawn half the match and J out and get more points for doing absolutely nothing. Not sure they thought this through completely. It’s going to be great for bots.
Tbf been catching people doing this clownery in naval.
They bring a reserve ship and J out 3 times before bailing. I don’t understand the logic.
It’s just to avoid the crewlock they get if they leave the match without spawning.
Gross.
Naval BRs are gross enough though
Im confused.
You dont get the reward from J-ing out yourself.
Only if an enemy nearby Js-out
The nearest enemy (and the range is enough it works even if you spawn at the beginning and J out) gets the full RP and SL for a kill. You get points as if you were killed by someone. What worries me is the possible collusion. If enough people J out early, someone could get a nuke just from people leaving their vehicles. Hopefully that doesn’t happen.
You get a reward for being killed? Especially from J-ing out?
