New copy paste for italian air tt

So, the Italian tech tree is a little lacking in certain areas, so some of these gaps could be fixed with the following means that the Italians used after having captured them from the various air forces that were their enemies (UK, France, Yugoslavia).

Spoiler

(I know it would be a choice brutally hated by Italian players, but Gaijin adds almost no planes even to pay for them).

  • Junker Ju.88 A-4

  • Dornier Do.217

  • Potez 631

Sorry no pic.

  • Bristol Beaufighter

  • Bristol Blenheim Mk IV

  • Hawker Hurricane

They would be relatively effortless but enjoyable additions for players.

Agree to the 2 German ones - i was aware of Ju 88s and 217s (night fighters) in service.

Even with the artificial loadout limitations of the Ju 88 A-4 (Bomb load is max. 3.000 not 2.400 kg, missing loadouts like 2 x SC 1000, 4 x SC 500, SC 1800, missing LMA/B mines or the SC 2.500 bomb, etc.) and having just the rank II - the Ju 88 might have some value as imho the survival rate of domestic Italian bombers at this BR (at least in Air RB) is simply too low…

And for the A-4 there was a field kit available - to replace the horizontal bomb sight (not dive bomb sight, 2 different things) with a flexible and/or fixed forward firing 20mm cannon. You find a lot of data in the old forum, the involved tech mod (look in the Swedish aircraft section) was not really helpful.

Furthermore: The Ju 88 A4 is technically quite familiar to the torpedo bomber version A-17, so in case gaijin wants to help out the Naval player base - easy going, all they have to is to remove the gunner gondola and the air brakes and to add a small bulge to the airframe and strap 2 torpedoes on it.

The rest of your proposed planes - rather not a fan…

Some of these we went over in the Italian Tech Tree proposal at the time

But… the whole idea behind the Italian Tech Tree in the first place, was to show and highlight rare and or unknown Italian aircraft

The Italian Tech Tree could stand on its own without much interference from foreign aircraft to fill in the gaps

Indeed, Gaijin has passed the suggestion of JU88 loadouts for a few years, but they haven’t fixed that.

This is right, but Gaijin add italian planes once at years (sarcasm)…

The problem is that it is difficult, since much of the data has been destroyed or forgotten over the ages… so, it can take a bit of time to find the required data

Because you can’t be bothered to go grind them out in their respective trees, you must force everyone else to grind out some more copypasta…

That’s also true, but of some little vehicles there’s still information. Like some variants of planes (es. C.R.42 CAI or C.201).

More variants are bound to come at some stage

You are also welcome to make some suggestions for variants for consideration

Feel free to contact the Suggestion Moderators in that case, they maybe able to give you an update about them

They have been very busy, so they may not have gotten around to them yet, and or there maybe some other reason, they should be able to tell you
