only edge it has on conq and m103 is rate of fire. other than that it is a worse deal.
8 rounds meaning you can wipe out half team in around 20 seconds and then wait some minutes for full reload and hope the ones you wipped respawn
Wipping half team in such short time its insane,expecially when most of the vehicles it faces are literally WW2 era tank that wont be able to react in time to such tank as the Somua,i dont struggle to kill it but its extremely annoying to deal with,with any tank
by that logic,all of MBTs are L3s food since the L3 can still pen MBTs somehow

Buddy please check my statcard for a Somua. I don’t have it. But I have killed then from the sides with BT-7M and Yak-9K so I know the side armor is like 40mm tops

But heres the thing you must have missed,we dont care it has paper armor from the side when if you place your self facing the enemy from a distance,you with a Somua can wipe out half team in 20 seconds while their tanks cant even react to such insane reload speed

Oh yeah no I understand that its pretty cracked. I’m pretty sure 50% of my deaths in IS-6 are from Somuas
but the fact stands it has paper armor on the sides and I can consume Somuas with BT-7M(sometimes)
Still aint a really good thing to talk about to be honest,its like saying “SPAAs have paper armor,i can kill them while i use any vehicle”
Then your team gets turned into atom by 1 single SPAA
Frontally speaking the Somua its decent enough to hold,expecially from far
After playing China 7.7 I can say Somuas are tough but they ain’t invincible. You need to be a good player to use Somua and play around its flaws, such as the paper side armor, obnoxiously long snoot of a barrel, and its reverse speed and reverse acceleration
They’re scary, but the same scary as when you shoot a TD in the front and it turns out to be a T95

The Char 25t was like that but even better (aphe) and people complained, so gaijin uptiered it to 8.0 and now it is exceptionally mid/below average
