Man please just shut up and understand how to evade the FOX 1/FOX 3,The FOX 1/FOX 3 are not at all OP as you say I simply see a bit of a skill issue
And man u have a really big skill issue….u have only 17 kill on the f14 iriaf and……331 deaths….
While weakening multipath is desirable, I believe it is important to make the proximity fuse realistic
In the current WT, the proximity fuse operates based on distance information from the radar seeker, so it will not operate below altitude where multipath is effective.
This is unrealistic behavior and the proximity fuse should be independent of the radar seeker.
If the proximity fuse of a missile passing in the vicinity of the target worked correctly, all problems would be solved.
It is quite ridiculous that the proximity fuse on an infrared missile works correctly, but only the proximity fuse on a radar missile cannot work correctly.
As much as I love to see the IRIAF not bully, I don’t think it’s a good idea to up it in 13.0, The Fakours are excellent and I agree it makes early game unbearable and even more so God forbid late game when you’re up against one in a 1v1. It’s practically meh in an uptier. No all-aspect PD. Radar is easily defeated. AIM-9P is ass, the R27R is good but well the radar’s hilariously bad. Engine so hot it makes an R60M act like an AIM-9X.
By that point in 13.0+ the only way you get killed by a Fakour is if you don’t care about it at all. Just my opinion.
Personally I think they need to address a lot more before doing this, namely gameplay as a whole, tutorials/guides, and the AB/RB/SB split.
SB should generally be as close to IRL levels as possible*, RB should be as realistic as possible while sacrificing some things for balance (i.e. mouse aim, etc, likely MPing due to stuff like the F-16A), and AB should be purely gameplay/balance.
Though lets face it, this game is ancient and not designed for BVR or ARHs in the slightest. Hell, it wasnt even designed for early missiles, let alone AIM-120s and R-77s.

I think it’s absurd what’s happening in realistic battles; they are totally unbalanced. It’s unanimously ridiculous that you have to face an F15 with AIM 120 missiles that don’t lose their lock like an angry mother, while you’re stuck with a Gripen equipped with outdated dogfight missiles from the 70s/80s. Additionally, you have to deal with the ridiculous and overpowered R27 missiles from the Russians. The armament should be balanced. In Tier 7/8, you face planes with missiles where you have no countermeasures, and you need to dance like a striptease muse to escape; otherwise, it’s a guaranteed kill for the enemy. This makes you pay-to-win because a Sheikh from the Arab Emirates can simply buy these heavy planes and massacre the players, who are mostly poor!
Same, the more I play fox 3 jets, the more I get annoyed by players whose entire counterplay to every missiles is to hug the ground all game. I’m not playing Fox 3 capable jet with dozen of kilometers of range to fight a knife fight at ground level with IRCCM.
It’s especially egregious in Sim where every player just multipath the entire time because they purposely choose to play on maps that are entirely flat.
While the issue of the Aim120 outranging everyone still exists, the multipath meta is just garbage. I’ve been using it a few time while playing downtiered planes to have a fighting chance (F5C vs Mig23ML for example), but that’s entirely an issue due to this damn compression of every BR and Gaijin could fix this overnight if they were willing to.
Multipath has to go at high BR. It just negates the playstyles of planes who rely on their SARH. Tornado, most of the F4, half the Migs, and every Fox 3 that isn’t an AMRAAM carrier. It’s very telling that I see a lot of EF2000 drop their Aim120 at 7km then immediately dive to the deck so they can multipath everything coming their way while getting more kill with 9M. This entire playstyle is absurd.
