in a 1:1 situation a Köln or Lübeck can never compete vs a SKR (and please don’t argue with skill issues) - you need at least Moffets or any other destroyer with comp. firepower to kill a SKR at medium range - reserve destr. have no chance.
Yes they can. Their anti ship firepower is pretty much identical with the Koln having only slightly less survivability and mobility. You don’t need a Moffet. Any 4.0+ destroyer with SAP can kill it at range.
I already told you. Introduce equivalent coastals or remove the SKRs and Koln and Lubeck from the tech trees and give everyone who has them a full refund GE/SL/RP… That’s where the imbalance is.
It already was nerfed…The first stage ammo is significantly reduced. The guns don’t do as much damage anymore except against reserve destroyers. What more do you want? Your survivability argument is nonsense considering that the same can be said of all other coastals with 16mm hull and 4mm superstructure some of which even get a coastal spawn. This would mean completely changing the DM for all such coastals rendering them near useless against low caliber autocannons. If you or your team aren’t focusing SKRs when they’re visible and before they reach caps near coastal spawns, then that’s a bad team.

AI bot boat 100000% better than player boat. Infinite & perfect acceleration & stopping, circling without losing speed, friction and the laws of physics dont exist in this universe
Also, smoke blows in the same direction regardless if the boat is going forward, stopped or reversing. I guess its some special gaijin smoke or something.

The only explanation is they expect the playerbase to accept the permanent AI aiming changes after they scale the AI boats back.

Most probably. Everytime I start the game I read the updates/modifications they do - including the -these were possible thanks/due to community feedback or such :))))) Air, tanks, maps, shells, everything but any navy mention.

Mate, don’t let anyone try to dismiss you for playing the game. Playing the most hated units in the game gives you understanding of them. “Know thy enemy”. I play ALL the boats. I have both SKRs 1 and 7 spaded. I have all the 206s.
I just barely play them because they’re OP trash that is heavily abused by those uninterested in challenge. And anytime I see a SKR or 206, I priority target it, and request the team do the same.
Thanks for your reply. Yeah, Im well aware that are a couple of forum trolls convinced that their purpose is to derail legit conversations. I understand that playing an OP boat is crazy fun and you get your XP, SL, dailies fast and thats ok.
What is not ok is the way the game is imbalanced and people lying and gaslighting others. The problem is I want to have fun & I think that others should have fun and not get instantly destroyed. I dont want to see other ppls boats/planes destroyed by OP laser bots, destroyers destroying your boat in spawn in seconds or in less than the minute it takes to reach a cap point. That is not fun, its the opposite.
A powerful boat is ok if there are legit ways to counter it. Otherwise its just flying saucers against ww2/post ww2 vehicles which is not what Gaijin stands for, or at least what they declare.
Yeah. It absolutely feels like certain units are insanely imbalanced for the BR, and the SKR has been a big one. Followed by the 206. That numbers on those units have to be ridiculous. And facing them in underpowered boats, while not being able to use BR to dodge them, is crazy frustrating. At least the 206 is somewhat soft skinned and you can drop it with a small boat or two. Until they burn a back up to bring it back out. The SKRs challenge and dominate both boats, ships, and planes. And those rockets are absurd.
Units unbalanced like that ruin the fun for people really trying to enjoy the game, in vastly underwhelming boats that they have little choice but to play.
The current arcade aiming reboot feels to have EXASPERATED the issue. Making it EASIER for tracer laser boats or rapid fire 76s to pop you from distance. FORGET about Destroyers and Cruisers, who now can pop you from THEIR spawn.

Gaijin trained AI cannot fire at the enemy ship if there is the smallest obstacle in its way. So, instead of firing at 10 km away, the boat just spits the shells at 1-2 km away. its hilarious. (Of course, these things werent happening before the update aka before the improvement of the game. Thank you gaijin for this wonderful experience :D
