Yo honestly I don’t think they do understand it goes both ways.
They seem rather narcissistic, totally oblivious to the FACT they absolutely ruined the game for the vast majority of veteran naval players. So much so they’re out here cracking jokes about “fight for right to party”. regarding spamming bug reports. For real I get the feeling they’re related to someone at Gaijin. Someone’s kid brother or something.
So this gets long as hell as it’s about 3 separate comments rolled into one. 3 Separate comments because I would get pissed off, leave for a week, come back, start typing out a comment after reading what’s been up, get pissed off again and leave…you get the point.
So it may seem to be disjointed somewhat.
…Eh whatever I had this whole other comment typed out like a week or two ago but then I just checked out because Gaijin doesn’t seem to give 2 soft sh**s about the mode or the vast majority of players, especially veteran players, as long as Kweedko is happy. Happy with his new Naval mode that he doesn’t want to be about gunnery skill or aiming anymore. He wants it to be about maneuvers. In other words he wants the mode to be about dodging incoming like your NEO in a BB and BC. SMFH, even typing that, the fact someone essentially said that, amazing… it would be hilarious if this person didn’t ruin the mode. But they did. They did ruin the mode. Regardless how many times they come on here and tell everyone else minus 2 or 3 commenters that the mode isn’t ruined. It’s actually better now, the issue isn’t that Kweedko ruined it, the issue is no one else is apparently as good as Kweedko…according to Kweedko of course. Sometimes that whole thing about geniuses being misunderstood in their time isn’t actually the case. Sometimes the guy wearing a stained pair of his tighty whities on his head and smearing unintelligible words across shop fronts windows with his own feces while giggling and carrying on to himself is just a fkn lunatic and his ideas shouldn’t be supported or investigated. Kinda like the suggestion to make Naval Arcade gaming like a mobil game. Ane yeah that’s how the suggestion was actually worded on the Russian forums and around 70% of the Russian players reacted the same as all of us have and said hell no we don’t want that. Yet here we are.
But anyways here’s the other comment I had typed out. Apparently Gaijin has zero intention of fixing this steaming pile of a mode. So I don’t really have a reason to fear the comment ban anymore.
OLD COMMENT copied and pasted from a 2 week open tab. Was originally a reply to Kweedko’s reply to my previous comment. I’m not even sure which thread anymore and doesn’t seem to matter anyways. 9 out of 10 threads are the same. It’s usually a bunch of players discussing how bad Naval Arcade aiming is now and then it’s Kweedko religiously “explaining” explaining to everyone else how they’re incorrect and how they suck. Devoid of any comment from Gaijin. Which also lends itself to me thinking my hypothesis below is at least partially correct. Seems like this sh** suggestion was accepted and implemented because of real world connections. Something akin to Kweedko being the lead dev’s kid brother or similar. I say that because otherwise none of this makes any sort of logical sense. You don’t piss off 70-80% of your long term consistent customers to gain 10-20% of new sporadic inconsistent and unreliable customers who are most likely just trying your product out and will sooner than later disappear anyways. That’s just from a generic high altitude view. Not gonna bother even getting into the actual gameplay mechanics or details of what this change has done because it’s all been said 100 times already. My point is there was absolutely no net positive for Gaijin out of this. I’ve been around long enough to know how stubborn they are and how they’ll stick with a directiont hey chose even when it’s immediately apparent it’s a misstep. Solely because they refuse to acknowledge it was a mistake and the players were right. But this one feels different. This is egregious in the severity it has negatively impacted the player experience. Especially when focusing on the veteran Naval players experience now.
By far the most tone deaf delusional individual I have ever come across. “I’m right about one thing they changed a lot and created a lot of bugs.” That’s wtf you got out of that last post, how in the hell is that what you got.
Also, you don’t get to say “on everything else wrong”. When they’re established facts. You turned the mode into WT mobil on purpose, fact. There’s a lot of people that hate it to the point of not even playing now, fact. Stop before you even say it. I don’t know the percentage, you don’t know the percentage. it’s irrelevant because it’s a lot. Apparently that entire concept …whooosh.
I’m starting to think you are someone high up at Gaijins little brother or something. There’s toothless crack heads running around in the world capable of more self reflection than you. “We need to fight for our right to party”. You ruined the mode dude. Drrrrrr “oh yeah lots of bugs guys it’ll get better” duuuurrrrrrrrr.
Then someone mentions the AA and you say “Yes LET’S hope for a fix soon” with a link to another one of your tickets. There wouldn’t be a need to hope for a fix soon if you didn’t break the entire mode. So you lit the building on fire and now you’re just gonna blend in to the brigade and start fighting the fire with everyone. What? But yes by all means keep sending in auto approved tickets. You’ve done such a great job so far. Then when you put a bandaid on the sucking chest wound you created you can pat yourself on the back and think you’re the hero that “saved” the mode.
Unfknbelievable.
I’m serious too, you’re related to someone at gaijin I think. You seem to be a teenager that always gets what they want. Like “Hey lets make naval arcade just like Wt Mobil that’ll be cool.” Meanwhile Russian forum basically told your suggestion to F off. Yet wow it’s approved and implemented out of all the suggestions on there they could have chose to implement they went with that one, seems rather odd to say the least. And here we are with a garbage mode now. Someone that never has had to take responsibility or actually answer for anything either because you’ve been told your whole life you’re so creative and all your ideas are great. See above SMH. That’s where the whole attitude of everyone here that says it’s sh** is wrong and I’m right comes from.
“I know I ruined the mode but redditors don’t care” (wrong I seen a few posts with numerous comments asking what the F is this shit in Naval Arcade aiming. Or who tf even asked for this. Ding ding ding) “Youtubers don’t care” (Youtubers are essentially employees pard, I know that’s a foreign concept to you. Go have a look through the comments on Gaijins “Hey we broke Naval aiming, now there’s no aiming, here we’ll explain it to you” video). Hint, it sure the hell isn’t garnering the universal praise you like to imagine you’re idea is getting everywhere but here. And what exactly was your point with that “Btw” anyways? I know I ruined the mode for a bunch of people. But so what reddit and YT haven’t really said much? Oh by all means then great job sport.
Yeah whatever, this comment wasn’t even for you because I can damn near already read what you’re going to parrot again anyways. Ya know if you had some humility and admit yeah I can see how A LOT of people would hate this. Maybe I’m not the center of the universe and I shouldn’t have taken it upon myself to ruin this mode just because I wanted to play a mobil game on PC. That would be one thing. But the total disregard for other people and their opinions is honestly astounding. And the fact it was approved also. I’ve never seen another suggestion this disruptive to the continuity of the game get implemented that came from just one person on a whim. This is what’s the most insane to me, the original suggestion was handily shot down. This was a terrible idea from the start and also a terrible idea no one else asked for. It isn’t like this was an idea a few people have been kicking around. It’s the equivalent of one person saying why don’t we turn the armor in ground battles into a system of simple hitpoints. Or every armor panel has a health bar. Yeah exactly you guys know what I’m saying. But do you see how massive the change would be to ground battles if suddenly pen and armor values didn’t matter? This aiming change was on the same level. Yet 1 person suggests it, the suggestion is met with a majority turning it down and vocally at that, and it gets implemented still. This whole entire thing is pretty f’d up.
