Proposed Battle rating changes for Naval Realistic: **Working list**

This list is created by:
1. Vehicle effectiveness

USA:

Scharnhorst 7.3 → 8.0
This ship has been a menace to naval for the longest time, being one of the hardest ships to kill in the game thanks to its armor scheme.
Its armor can reach over 1000mm RHA, and is next to impossible to ammo rack.
It’s “downside” is it’s weaker cannons, but it’s a mystery how this didn’t get pushed up in BR since all you really do is crew kill it.
If you brawl in it, you’re unstoppable.

Gneisenau 7.7 → 8.0
Having similar armor properties but boasting better cannons, it’s strangely low in br.
This vessel vs. 6.7s is quite literally a loss for the enemy team.

S-38b 1.7 > 1.3: Apart from 2 extra MG-34s and a little extra armor (I think) it’s completely the same as the S-38 (a Reserve boat). At its BR it is completely outclassed by pretty much every other both at 1.7 and its MG-34s, aside from dealing with planes, are useless; barely dealing any damage to enemy boats.

Meh, for Coastal, Russia has some pretty broken vehicles and they have the most powerful battleship in the game.

Coastal kinda, but Germany has some broken ships that were actually removed from the game and never nerfed. Said ships can take more beatings than battleships.

SovetSky isn’t the most powerful ship in the game. Don’t listen to statshark, merely because it’s played more doesn’t mean it’s the best. The Bismarck and Iowa are very close behind it.

The fact that the vote currently sits at 85% Russia (and likely will stay around the same percentage, assuming experienced naval players continue to vote) is quite telling, I think.

Indeed, it’s quite telling that most people believe Russian bias actually exists, yet I’ve been trying to find it for 8 years. Clearly, I must be playing a different game.

99% of players think Russia bias is real, and will take the worst examples of vehicles and say they are good. YouTubers are also very guilty of this.

russia defiantly has best BBs at top rank but Iowa should be mentioned as it has survivability that even prime scarnhorst cant compete

There are enough legitimate reasons to explain the voting result without resorting to lazily dismissing it as merely another expression of a belief in Russian bias.

Russia has the best HE mass sure. But the SovetSky is like a massive bus lol. And it’s not impervious to damage at all.

But yeah I think Iowa, Bismarck, SovetSky, and Yamato all have their strengths and weaknesses. They’re all pretty well balanced

@TheDudesRug thats because people don’t participate in a logical way, they just come here and say things like “Russian bias” or nerf all Russian vehicles etc.

This post is meant to help balance the game. Someone asked me to may it, therefore, it does lead somewhere.

not really yamato gets one tapped if you sneeze on it and bismarck dies to barbette fires consistinatly and richelu has same thing as bismarck accept its not as bad as the fire sets off shell room not magazine

Yamato is the easiest top tier ship to kill. Soyuz and Iowa are tied as toughest nuts to crack in my personal experience

In my experience, the SovetSky suffers the same issues the Kron does. The shells explode very easily, and leave you defenseless until you sink or are shelled to death.
