Naval mode is finally dead

Subs would be cool. I hope they could add carriers too. Would give purpose for other destroyers and torpedo boats at higher brs. Now its really just destroyers - cruisers - battleships - no point of playing thing outside of their br exept for japanese destroyers.

But gotta delete or nerf soyuz first. Untill then top tier is unplayable.

They could act as mobile air spawns and let the driver of the Carrier deploy planes. I would love to see this for the Germans

Most CLs can’t even pen CBs with SAP. Oh wait; DD SAP can ammo explode a Yamato through the turret 2 barbette. Only the most heavily armored battleship of the early 1940s. (Granted this is a massive bug but still)

Since most IJN DDs are stuck to HE, their penetration is only 20mm at closer ranges.

A Gearing can pen CLs at 7.5 km with 55mm. Which ones is a different story. Not to mention the sheer amount of ammo American DDs can vomit at a target to overwhelm it.

A Dido (A CL with 13.3s) can do it at 10km with 77mm. With a notably lower firerate.

4.5km is usable before torpedo mode. This is also at tier. Up tiering it to 6.7+ is a different story altogether.

‘shit filler’ doesn’t stop a well aimed torp from instantly nuking a ship post leviathans unless it’s something it generally won’t see (Like - for example - a Kongou). Even then it can still kill ships it genuinely shouldn’t.

No, no they’re not unless the opposing team is nothing short of borderline bot. Granted, a lot of the top tier maps being purely open water is a point to the IJN DDs’ advantage.

Not to mention IJN DDs are focused the instant they’re seen because of the type 93s doesn’t help the case for ‘new player friendly’.

You probably could if you got enough games, given the Scharnhorst’s torpedo protection pre Leviathans was a hardcore gamble even on the best of days. You’d either be instantly killed by a low yield torpedo or eat several full salvos for minor flooding because the snail deemed it so.

Soviet BR 5.3 DDs are better at killing both light and heavy cruisers than many CLs.

Yeah, my confused surprise when a Tashkent ammo detonated me at nearly 11km via bow in an Enterprise or a Hawkins (been a month or two since that match.

In other news, a new bug in Naval just dropped

11 kills equates to no money or rp and I was active the entire match.

its not limited to naval, its the case in every gamemode, they fd up the scoring system and thus the rewards

We’re aware of issues with mission score and spawn points during battles and are already working on a solution. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Look, my guy, grammar is important. One extremely long run-on sentence with a post that long will quickly get people to just go cross-eyed.

Why tho the battleships already nerf to the point it’s crazy

The tldr is AI ships instantly put out fires. I’ve seen it first hand and while not all that problematic for smaller ships, it’s really annoying when you’re trying to kill AI battleships.

Since the only fast way to kill them at that point is an ammo explosion or flooding.

True but I honestly just don’t like how survivability for ships are being handled U have to agree, back then battleship really felt like floating fortresses compared to now. And some mechanics aren’t realistic and I feel like it nerfs the ships a lot.

I’ve seen that issue before and also armour and shells just doesn’t seem to react in the correct and realistic way for naval. U could get Ur magazine detonated even when Ur mainbelt was hit in and extreme angle wouldn’t U find it weird and start questioning. It even happened to a YouTuber Dollarplays when he played the Yamato. And even tho Yamato armour system works in reality even tho she was not hit by any battleships shells instead was hit by bombs and torpedoes, her sister ship musashi and her took a huge amount of hits before sinking. And look at war thunder even bots HE shells are enough to sink her due to the VERY REALISTIC compartments mechanics, wait I meant health bars for compartments.
