6.It seems the French fleet - Arras etc are GOD mode now, the blue triagle show that anything spawning there was insta dead.
I’m much less upset about the naval aiming (save for how ridiculously easy it is now to get ammoracked by experienced players) than the changes to the AI anti-air accuracy. It was pretty annoying already before, with the AI engaging their main calibre guns on air targets at ridiculous distances, but it was usually possible to do at least one successful bombing run before dying. Now I consistently die up to 5km away from the ships without ever getting to do anything, often dying to the first hit.
Due to the huge buff to AAA and secondary battery accuracy vs naval targets boats are also basically unable to engage anything stronger than reserve DDs with next to no AI gunners. They went from uselessly spraying all over the screen to center mass aimbot mode in one go.
It is also a major tactical loss that we can no longer give priority targets to our weapon groups, leaving only the targeting toggle as a tool for prioritising.
I don’t think Naval AB is quite unplayable, and the new aiming definitely helps lower fire rate weapons to be more competitive (which I welcome, especially for low rank boats), but all in all it feels quite egregious, especially the AI gunners.

So you are the one who crashed to the beach and not using smokes and went forward in to killzone fo Aras to feed(which one is more killable now with new HE mechanic) instead of going behind the cover? Sure it’s aiming fault not yours.
Suggestion is a suggestion if you vote a lot it passed to devs to concern, poll in random tread is just a poll you may pray that devs read it but not rely upon it.

I am not at your level man, I haven’t unlocked the crew ability to phase throught the island.
When they wanted to implement changes for tanks thay had a survey so everyone could vote.
On this case they just made the changes and dare to say just ghosted us.

They can shoot throught smokes and you know it, don’t pretent you don’t!
What can disable the Arras in the 5~7sec I had?

You were just exploiting a bad map design, it was bad before but now it is complety broken.

I’m someone that played mostly air and ground. Started to get into naval a few months ago. I stick to mostly naval AB. Right when I started to get used to the old AB aiming system, they changed it. I wasn’t a fan of the new one at first, but I’ve gotten used to it. With the old system, if you attempted to move or change your heading it would completely mess up your range with the enemy ships. It would promote more of a slower gameplay. Now that the computer does all the aiming for you, its much better to move around and maneuver constantly. I see people sailing in a straight line getting absolutely demolished, while people that are constantly turning are dodging enemy shells.
AA definitely needs to be toned down. These ships were designed to fire at multiple aircraft. One single plane has no chance. They need to continue to add more ships. Lastly they need to add more game modes.

Yeah, it seems naval AB is dead.
I can agree that the new aim system is easier to shoot.
But it is just way too easy.
Coastal was dead long ago since they became ‘spamming autocannon for 1sec TTK’ meta after ‘Danger Zone’ update.
And, This new aim system is pouring salt into the grave.
If I want to play ‘han-shot-first’ simulator with laser beams which the’ first shooter always wins’
I would rather just install COD instead.
This is one of my biggest issues. It was so rudely and abruptly done, with no warning. It completely destroys the game play for those of us with hundreds if not thousands of hours. And it’s done for WHOSE benefit?
Like… the gameplay is so terrible now. How could you just, do something this radical without questions from the community or phasing things in? It’s bonkers
There was warning and several opportunities to test it - this was originally published March 1, 2 weeks before the update became live.
the Dev server was open at least twice in that 2 weeks IIRC
Note that this text is black - so it was never changed from the initial publishing of the changelog - ie it was there at the beginning, and remained there for the period of testing.
