Dropped in a match that was like, 5v5 full and of bots and just quit. Arcade sucks now. Don’t know when I’ll play Naval next. Good Job killing it to those responsible.
This is the most frustrating part of dealing with your arguments. You simultaneously say that you should just put up a suggestion and vote, and also that polls aren’t accurate. You say that no one listens to anyone on the forums, but we should post on the forums if we want changes,
This was YOUR suggestion, and even on your own suggestion post, the majority of people voted against it.
I understand that means you have to argue for it even in the face of hundreds of people asking for it to be changed back, but stop dismissing everyone else as either angry, bad, or inexperienced.
A lot of us enjoyed the old naval arcade system flaws and all. We (North American forum players) didn’t ask for the change. Not only that, but there was no communication about it. Now that it’s been implemented, we can’t even get anyone to answer our concerns, I’ve stopped playing naval after something like 10 years and quite a lot of money spent.
I don’t like, and have never liked, playing realistic, so that is not an acceptable answer for me. I will continue to advocate for arcade to go back to the way it was previous to this patch. However, I will also continue to advocate for changes that people HAVE continually asked for such as decompression, better maps, and changes to RP earning/requirements (especially for coastal).
this thread as one of many related to the aimbot update alone has more than 450 posts in 2 weeks. And still is not noticed by GJ (I can only assume this due to exactly zero feedback from them)…
That’s extremely frustrating. I started a poll thread in the naval forums as did someone else, and that forum is full of people complaining and asking for it to be reverted, or at least for them to engage in a dialogue. Gaijin is very quick to communicate when they want our money. Other than that, they couldn’t care less.
oh yes - and as already mentioned on other topics (e.g. the very very important “turret baskets”) they even started the discussion and gave a lot of feedback

I don’t believe GJ indention was not for chalenges to be that easy.
Did they also removed the ability to assign targets to your guns in AB?
I had an B25 kamikazing me and my stupid A/A were engaging a stupid bot at 4klm!!!
Totally agree the NAB is now completely ruined with the new whacked out aiming system.
Haven’t really played naval since I tried a few times and I hate it. Have another friend that only plays naval. He now doesn’t play at all since the aiming changed.
Gaijin need to change the aiming system back to the way it was. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it 👍🏻
I’m mixed on the aiming changes. The old system still had a distinction between AB and RB aiming, with AB helping you compensate for range and lead, but the player still had to do some work to manually “dial in” as it wasn’t perfectly accurate.
RB only calculated lead and range had to be manually compensated by the player IIRC.
AFAIK this new system mostly does all the compensating for you in AB, making it effectively “point n’ shoot” in arcade.
I’m not OPPOSED to the new system but I thought the old one required a little bit more “skill expression”. I know arcade is supposed to be the more relaxed, casual, laid back mode, but I thought the old arcade aiming was good for what it was. Easier then naval RB aiming, but not completely, 100% automated.
EDIT: Unrelated to naval AB aiming but I’m also not a fan of the change done a while back where a destroyed bridge doesn’t lock up your controls anymore, either. Yes stuns are annoying in video games but at least in realistic mode it made sense that if your bridge got blown out, you couldn’t give orders for a while because everyone in the control room is dead.

6.It seems the French fleet - Arras etc are GOD mode now, the blue triagle show that anything spawning there was insta dead.
I’m much less upset about the naval aiming (save for how ridiculously easy it is now to get ammoracked by experienced players) than the changes to the AI anti-air accuracy. It was pretty annoying already before, with the AI engaging their main calibre guns on air targets at ridiculous distances, but it was usually possible to do at least one successful bombing run before dying. Now I consistently die up to 5km away from the ships without ever getting to do anything, often dying to the first hit.
Due to the huge buff to AAA and secondary battery accuracy vs naval targets boats are also basically unable to engage anything stronger than reserve DDs with next to no AI gunners. They went from uselessly spraying all over the screen to center mass aimbot mode in one go.
It is also a major tactical loss that we can no longer give priority targets to our weapon groups, leaving only the targeting toggle as a tool for prioritising.
I don’t think Naval AB is quite unplayable, and the new aiming definitely helps lower fire rate weapons to be more competitive (which I welcome, especially for low rank boats), but all in all it feels quite egregious, especially the AI gunners.
So you are one who spawned right respawn instead of left in uptier match and wondering why you get killed on sight?.
So you are the one who crashed to the beach and not using smokes and went forward in to killzone fo Aras to feed(which one is more killable now with new HE mechanic) instead of going behind the cover? Sure it’s aiming fault not yours.
Suggestion is a suggestion if you vote a lot it passed to devs to concern, poll in random tread is just a poll you may pray that devs read it but not rely upon it.
Post where it may be listened in suggestions, and patch feed back treads. Here is just a chit chat.
