Naval mode is finally dead

It doesn’t have to be either all up or all down. there is a middle line here so everybody can have killing each other.

Planes in naval 6.3+ almost not existed even before this nerf, what are you talking about.

We got naval Larp before GTA6 lol

I know.

Totally larping.

3.3k+ games.

8th August 2026, not dead

The mode is still affected by annoying bugs yet to be resolved.

And we have a naval event coming up, so people are in for a rude awakening.

Still no update/fix I assume? And the event is right around the corner 🤦‍♂️

Okay so when exactly did they Semi-Break the Arcade Aiming? For Whatever reason switching locked targets now causes some kind of pseudo lock where it shows the target as locked but the shots literally just go wherever without doing auto calculations.
Edit: From what i seen on the Bug Report Site people seem to think this is a issue with certain guns rather than a issue with the “Lock” system (not sure why they think that)

why-not-both-why-not

I have not played Naval in weeks/months. But, from what I been reading, I think it is currently both.

Idk if I am even going to try any Naval matches for this event. And it would be the first Naval event that I have skipped in years. I was already fed up with the horrible change they made to Naval Arcade aiming. If I can’t even lock/aim/shoot properly with the “new” system, I am going to crash out 😡

Because Gaijjin unilaterally decided to change the targeting rules of various naval weapons in a recent update, and the list of bugged weapons is precisely in line with these changes.

Meanwhile weapons not receiving the new rules are magically unaffected and remain fully usable as before.

If it was a universal aiming issue, as when Arcade changed from Leading to Easy Aim, all guns should act precisely the same.

Interestingly enough the problem with the shots not going where i aim them occured to me on the Soyuz, South Dakota and Gneisenau and Nagato as well

The visual model is actually a hold over from Kronshtadt. The magazine’s hitbox is what you would expect for a 40.6cm magazine.

I’ve though for a while that FB.1, Kikka and Su-9 (maybe French Sea Fury) should be strike fighters in NAB, but the lower rank big bomb carrying fighters like the F6F-5 would be too much if they were to make all fighters have a faster reload.

Separate BR for modes happened in 2024, perhaps this also paves the way for differences in a vehicles logic between modes too?

I would like to see an intermediate between Fighters and Attackers - off the top of my head let’s call it Fighter-Bomber.

Many planes start as pure fighters but get relegated to attacker status over time. Hawker Typhoon is an obvious one once it’s poor altitude performance became clear. But there’s also ones like DH Vampires that became FB as they became obsolecent as a fighter.

Don’t give them 30s reloads as it makes attackers obsolete. But reduce the long several min reload of most fighters ground ordinance by maybe 20 %.

But this would exclude pure fighters who just happen to also carry bombs - such as the F6F etc who would become a menace and make half the planes around them instantly pointless. Plus it’s one of the few that can still make an impact in naval in Arcade even having a better load out than most medium bombers around its level.

Got it also with ALCIONE , GREY FOX and for some reaslon FRUNZE ?!

I mean come on, they have this since Nuclear Escalation and even with naval event starting didn’t even bother, instead it is so very very important to have NATO/REDFOR icons!!!

Has anyone maybe pinged STONA or someone?

In terms of the game and how things seem to work at the moment perhaps the overall answer is for them to just balance planes in NAB with BR changes taking bomb loads into account, which doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment

The same thing happened to me earlier this year; I had stopped playing naval battles and taken a short break, and now the problem doesn’t seem to be occurring anymore—whether with the Soyuz or the Nagato. It’s really strange; it seems completely random

To properly compare this Summer’s performance, you should use Year over Year change, so put Jun-26 up against Jun-25 and Jun-24.
