It’s not their choice to be on those maps, just recent BR changes.
Ive come to think about something… If Gaijin is of the opinion that the open water circle maps are playable for 8.7s, then why should brs other than 8.0/8.3/8.7s suffer playing on those maps as well…
Breaking news from WT naval testing if something got fixed - so you guys dont have to suffer
Basically 12 min in (big success surviving that long) started to get focused by soyuz and its second salvo ammoracked my front turret at this absolutely absurd angle somehow at nearly 15 km - even tho it shows no damage in replay but after that next shot show front ammo rack is gone and I am sinking.
next shot shows turret gone
Respawned with another yamato and went on shelling that soyuz for 10 mins (blackened his ammo elevator few times - nothing happend - if it was yamato i goes poof from any ammo elevator damage) really just had to destroy all his sections since its not doing anything else tbf. (also it didnt get stolen by bot soo yay?)
Soyuz respawns - shoots two salvos - my ship goes poof
While replay only shows my secondary ammo hit which somehow one tapped whole Yamato again.
No other damage from the last shell.
(thats one of the better scenarios - sometimes you wont kill ignoring soyuz after shelling it whole match)
Did something else change?
It feels like a few weeks now where my shots in all ships are over under over straddle straddle under straddle straddle etc.
Did the RNG get greater?
Am I personally nerfed?
I went from constant terror of the sea to like 1-2 kills 7 assist per match.
The rare hits at long range often take minutes of gameplay and I finally work someone down and ASSIST. Often event bots stealing the kills.
But for some reason each map will be that one guy not effected by this new RNG low score guaranteeing aim modifier.
Another Naval sale that I can’t utilize:
Honestly for the 250th birthday of the organisation its kinda dull
I played for a while in Naval RB because I didn’t like the Hornet’s Sting system. Now I’ve returned to Naval AB and given it another chance. Both modes have pros and cons. The adjustments made to AI gunners in Naval AB and the additional distance between spawns have made Naval AB a lot more enjoyable, even with the aiming changes.
That said, this issue with the inability to select targets for your own secondaries and AA guns is a bit frustrating. There’s no reason this feature shouldn’t work in Naval AB.
It actually working, just not showing the icons, try in test sail, just not forget that selecting new target cancels the targets selected for secondaries and AAs.
Doesn’t this defeat the whole purpose? You have to select a target first to set it as a secondary or AA target. So if you want to engage something else, you have to select a different target… cancelling your secondary and AA orders.
Secondary and AA batteries should be able to track and fire at separate targets from the main guns.
So report it.
I thought there was a keybind combination for having primary or secondary stay focused on a specific target while you manually select and fire at another? Was that removed at some point?
Not removed, but doesn’t work like before. Still “sort of works”, but they will drop/re-target as soon as you click on a different enemy. So, imo, it does not “work”, even though the keybinds still do “something”.
Lame.
that should be gaijin’s motto
That’s a bad change incoming. This will lead to constant crew loss, that can’t be stopped by disabling repairs.
Please give a like on my post on the new community update thread if you agree/would like an option to choose your aiming method in Naval Arcade battles:
EDIT: Great reply to my post, from the same thread: Community Update No.8: Responses and What’s Coming! - #513 by Bombe18
How will this lead to increased crew loss? The new system doesn’t seem to force repairs, only automating their activation in order
But we do not want to automatize our repair.
Sometime i want to have flooding to decrease my profile.
Sometime i do not want to repair and so on …
The damage control change is bad. Now with priority extinguishing, it will start extinguishing fire in secondary gun that can stay burning for a while, and i will die to the torpedo that hit me cause it will extinguish and unwatering will have penalty and become slower. so i will end up flooded and with lost buoyancy.
