With the new torpedo lines on map feature coming to naval, this points towards the direction where we could get a proper map style naval controll mode for controlling you vehicle.
This could allow increased situational avareness and better feedback for your own actions in battle, which could make more people interested in playing naval.
Would you like to see this in-game?

Firstly a crude example picture
note that I have aded the new torpedo lines as well since this could allow trackign torpedoes to target better.
(Fireing and targetting weaponry, Optional check bellow)
(Future prooffing for new additions, such as submarines)
This information is usefull to the player due to
Finding openings in enemy lines
Avoiding possible dangrous enemies
This type of centralized controll room is present on larger ships and being able to view this battlefield information would also bring some realism to the game.
Naval targetting assist on map controll mode(OPTIONAL)
In addition, since it has been showed possible that you can track your own ammunition on the map you could also expand this map controll mode by allowing shooting and targetting within it.
see selected target and your own aiming reticle (green)
your own shells airborne (yellow)
shell impacts, (yellow miss, orage Hit)
This type of aiming assist could make the currently unpopular aiming more intuitive for new players to learn since you can easier see on the map where your shots hit.
Should this aiming mode be implemented into the map
Yes (It should be implemented at the same time)
Yes (After people have gotten used to the map mode)
Maybe (Depends on the map mode itself)
No (I’d prefer some other implementtion)
No (there shouldn’t be alternatives for aiming)

Overall I think this kind of controll/information mode would be a positive change for the gamemode and it could assist in possible future additions allowing naval to improve in the future.
might depend on the ship but as we go into the 20th and 21st century naval combat becomes more command and control especially with aircraft carriers and missiles.
Definitely +1. This will become an important and more relevant interface to use often once more capable DDGs are added to the game, so you can open and control your general-purpose missile targeting more efficiently.
there’s no surface radar or sonar for moment so is unless at moment this will be avaible with freem and when starting see more cold war era after the bb lineup for start the 9.0 and upper
i knw they are equipped with sonar and surface radar but at moment we can call locked and cant use it, same the air lock and guidance of calling saclos but in reality are sah are doing this saclos maybe becouse at moment he cant have surface radar for hit ship with these cold war and put an a fake saclos Naval missile should work correctly not like we have now i have created an a topic of how should work the air radar search and rim 24 the issue got accepted 8 month ago and still not fixed.
but this is not the topic better dont talk here of this
True Gaijin has not really worked on fire control directors or there systems likely to prevent naval from becoming overly complex and people complaining. For a time if you lost key fire control you could not use your main gun people did not like that. They could make thing complex but it stops being as simple and becomes more of a command and control game of what you engage and what you don’t. Even WW2 fire control was complex like anti-air.
Anti-air might be broken down to what its slaved to for example the single Japanese 25mm aa guns are just individually controlled by the gunners but the twin and triple are slaved to a director. Director may have 5 guns to it but provide improved accuracy but once destroyed the guns slaved go to local control. Would help target multiple planes at once so great for once aircraft carriers get in.
As we go into the future your going to get what people hate about air just placed into naval of getting targeted hit by missiles and all things considered a bit of a pain. Super powerful radars with zero cover (more powerful then a lot of land installations thanks to direct water cooling) One thing that might save you is naval decoys are good.
