like here, you hit the track, due to how volumetric works this can make them have 300mm of effective armour
Creating a diversion not to talk about the main problem here, which is russian ERAs/side armors/autoloaders eating whole DARTs like it was nothing.

Yeah let’s not shoot at the carousel and that red gunner while the driver is already dead, definitely not a good idea. Let’s shoot at a vital part of the tank, like the rangefinder.

you disabled him completely, he can’t shoot at you anymore (broke autoloader AND he fired) and you’re just sitting there shooting the same spot that very clearly ISN’T WORKING.

The point is : it SHOULD have pened where the shots HIT, but it simply DIDN’T, you very clever man that you are.

Track ate most of the pen, this reduced the amount of residual pen his shell has, which reduced the spall from his shell.
not to mention the only crew member there is already dead

The dude shot at least 10 shots outside of the track area, they should have pened 135%, after and even before the ERAs had been destroyed. Will you stop finding ridiculous excuses to defend Russia ?

It shouldn’t, that is an insanely extreme angle.
Even if it COULD have penned, it was a bad shot as it literally would only have damaged maybe the engine
Stop shooting so high on Russian tanks, aim lower to where the ERA ends
The point is not where the should would have hit, it’s if it would have pened or not, and if the ERA stopped it or not
It would have pened, but the bs russian eras decided otherwise
Then you have no reason to defend Russian tanks. Everyone has encountered their BS mechanics, don’t act like it’s a skill issue. Side skirts stop 120mm APFSDS, autoloaders tank the spall, and so on.

The only “fix” is ending nation v nation matches.
I don’t play USSR because other tech trees have better lineups.
Many people play USSR because they want to.
Outside ending nation v nation, all you can do is just wait for people to get bored of the vehicles they’re playing.
For now, I’m enjoying stronger nations such as USA and Germany.
Even Britain 11.7 I find far more fun than USSR.
