Q-5(Prototype):
The Q-5 (prototype) was China’s first independently developed supersonic attack aircraft, created by the Nanchang Aircraft Factory based on the J-6 (MiG-19). The project’s initial codename was (雄鹰-302)。The prototype featured 30mm cannons located on either side of the nose.

Background
Spoiler This is the initial version of at least three iterations labeled with the suffix ‘B’. The decision to transform the Q-5 into a naval variant was influenced by previous unsuccessful attempts to convert J-5 fighters for torpedo-carrying purposes. Taking this into consideration, the PLANAF (People’s Liberation Army Naval Air Force) opted to modify the Q-5 for this specific role, and it is believed that the studies commenced in 196…

A-5M
[A-5M]
Hello everyone :), what I would like to introduce today is A-5M made by Nanchang Aircraft Manufacturing Plant.
Introduction
After the A-5C was exported to Pakistan in 1981, the Pakistani side was relatively satisfied with the aircraft’s performance, but believed that the aircraft’s electronic equipment was outdated. In order to further expand the foreign market and meet operational needs, China’s Nanchang Aircraft Manufacturing Plant began seeking foreign partners in 1…

Given the lack of air-to-air missiles, limited 18 large-caliber countermeasures, and only two deployable air-to-ground munitions per sortie, I believe its BR shouldn’t go above 11.0.

What are the differences between the Q-5L and the Q-5N?
From what I could find Q-5N is a Q-5D upgraded to Q-5L standard but with different navigation systems

is Q-5L the latest version ? would be nice to have a better Q-5 in game
Q-5D was supposed to be Q-5M if the collaboration didn’t end as it did(sanctions) or at least according to baike
Due to this when the requirements for a new variant to use instead of the Q-5M where released it turned out to be too ambitious to complete and it was decided then that Q-5D was just gonna be a small scale upgrade to address the shortcomings of the then in-service Q-5 variants, the improvements basically are:
PD/GPS navigation(CCRP?)
improved RWR
improved but still same old design sight
bigger fuel tanks
improved accuracy of CCIP(?
a new green paint scheme to recognize it
[New navigation radar under the nose]
[Improved sight, note the shape of the reticle]
[Q-5D showcasing weaponry, note the 57mm rocket pod, still missing on every Q-5 in game]
Now it’s implied that only the D variant was capable of using the Type 200A anti-runway bomb(Matra Durandal) but I can’t find an image of the Q-5 with the bomb or even showcased

Type 200A/Durandal was in the standard loadout of export Q-5IIIs(A-5III). You can easily find pictures of that.

The problem with the export variants having x weaponry is that it doesn’t necessarily means that the original can use it and that has been the logic to deny AAM for the Q-5s
Now in that second picture it does seem to be a type 200 I was focused on looking for one picture with the Q-5D

@JapanWeeb89 do you know which Q-5 variant this is? Q-5L?
To be precise, it’s the FT-6, not the LS-6

Cluster bombs have been confirmed, what cluster bombs could the Q-5 carry? Just the type 3?

A-5C and other A-5IIIs can get BL755
Its pretty much a Q-5A that’s able to take 250 kg bombs on the wing hardpoint.
Scratch that
