And TD and spaa can get scouting ability
the devs are the one who decide what gets what even if it means changing the vehicles role in this case bmpt

I personally think an Ammobox is the best solution to this issue, but I am not opposed to additional munitions as long as they aren’t in hazardous locations.

theres very few, only the couple rocket tanks as far as I know, which is fine imo

I dont think TDs should, but the only AAs that do generally have no way of defending themselves

yeah but there are no light tanks without scouting or TDs without ammo boxes

yeah, personally I wouldnt mind all ifvs with missiles getting ammo boxes, itd just be a continuation of rocket tanks getting them

Most yeah for AAs and for TDs not generally something like say zachlam tager needs it that sad thing can’t be saved no matter how much game mechanics you throw at it

Im not going to ignore BMPT here because its literally the key point of this topic - when one vehicle in case of Eitan gets its effectivness artificially minimised to the absolute maximum possible due to the lack of sources/“balance” and another vehicle getting artificially buffed in case of BMPT.

Just look at this.

Eitan:

  1. no sources claim it has additational missiles and belts in a hull. Neither sources claim it doesnt. Gets 2 useless spikes.
  2. 4 spikes it have - nerfed to oblivion for “balance”, cant take down a single olololo plusW player on a premium t-80 charging at you in a open field
  3. all of those bushmasters supposed to have HE TF rounds, but for some reasons Eitan doesnt have it
  4. joke of a BR for its kit

Meanwhile BMPT:

  1. any hit in its weapon station will probably blow the whole thing up? No problem! Gaijin separated its belts so you can expose your ammo in a turret as much as you please. Just gonna lose few rounds in case of cook off.
  2. vehicle phisically cant hold more then 4 missiles? No worries, its tank destroyer from now on. Here’s a box for you
  3. ofc gets an absolutely laughable BR at start and still is… because noone could’ve guessed top tier ussr mbt protection level would be too strong on its BR.

Something has to be done about this. Selective realism it or whatever, but every single match in either Namer just ends with a single BMPT round hitting the ammo leading to the Namer being useless. You have maybe a 5% chance of actually making it to any resupply point (assuming you can even move from the spot you’re in) so you might as well just J out and go to the next game. At this point, the Namer’s are easily the worst of the IFVs. Sure they have some extra armor over the others, but they’re at the highest BR, have the worst cannon, tied for the least amount of RNG spikes, and the worst mobility.
