I wish it had a rank 3 as well, but I doubt it’ll ever come.
I’ve been waiting months just for 1 extra vehicle in Israel.

well now we have a butchered Sholef V.1
Indeed. I’m waiting for the preview of the vehicle to come out so I can test drive it.
The PT-76-57.
Ooo
I think it’s too exaggerated.
Chile and Argentina are neighbors and share one of the longest borders in the world, for more than 200 years. What two dictatorships did during those brief years does not represent two brotherly peoples in any way.
The reality in Latam is that most of the time the military invents/exaggerates conflict hypotheses to justify military spending in a historically peaceful area compared to other regions of the world. All countries need a conflict hypothesis to justify military spending to society, as it represents a very large business. When there is no conflict hypothesis, you invent one. It’s that simple. That represents China and Russia for NATO today, as since the end of the Cold War, the industrial-military complex had stalled and is now seeking to revive.
I never meant to say that was the entire history. I’m just saying the vehicles would realistically fight one another. I’d prefer if they did that in-game.
Also, this game has way too many independent tech trees…
Sub-Trees are pretty much the only way these things should get added these days.
This is the difference. They went down completely separate routes.
The differences include pretty much everything other than armour and tracks, as well as a laser range finder.
The PT-76E has the same power pack as the BMP-1, giving it a power to weight ratio of ~15hp/t, while the PT-76-2000 has a Detroit Diesel 6V-92T 300hp engine giving it a power to weight ratio of 20hp/t.
The PT-76E has a top speed of 61 km/h, while the PT-76-2000 has an estimated top speed of ~65km/h
The PT-76E has an upgraded variant of the gun 57mm cannon found on the ZSU-57 capable of firing APCBC and HE rounds, while the PT-76-2000 is equipped with a modified version of the 90mm Cockerill Mk.3 capable of firing APFSDS, HEATFS, and HESH rounds.
damn it, the stupid message box blocked the fact that you answered it before me lol
All I did was requote my previous statement that they didn’t bother reading despite replying to the thread lol
alr, also here’s a turret called the Crossbow 120
It’s a modular turreted mortar system. Doesn’t have a hull just yet, but has been demonstrated on a Boxer hull.
Your comment makes me laugh, lol. You’re the first person to have “fantasies” about a hypothetical conflict between Argentina and Chile, haha.
The only one would have been the M-50 that arrived in the late '70s. The rest, if I’m not mistaken, arrived in the mid-'80s.
Also, you already have two skins of Chilean and Argentine tanks in the same lineup in the Israeli TT. I have the M-51 with the Chilean skin and the AML90 with the Argentine skin. It’s a shame the AML’s BR went up, because it ruined my 6.7/7.0 lineup.
You still have a lot of Taiwanese vehicles in the Chinese TT. No matter what they say, Argentina and Chile were once one country, just as Communist China and Nationalist China were. The difference is that the latter have been enemies for a century, while Argentina and Chile had a spat that lasted minutes.
I already stated I wasn’t an expert. I’m just trying to inform you that making a unified South American Tree would pose challenges due to tensions that occurred during certain time periods as well as Development ones related to gameplay.
Chile contracted Israel, specifically NIMDA, to modernize their military arsenal rapidly. While the war never happened, it was still a very real possibility.
Even if you can figure out a way to make it work throughout the entire tree, it doesn’t change the fact that we can’t realistically have any more independent Tech Trees. Even now, Israel, China, Japan, and Italy have been almost entirely forgotten. From now on, Sub-Trees are just a superior way to add these vehicles.
I didn’t mean to offend you; it was actually fun to hear. I’d never considered it as a conflict hypothesis in WT. In my 10.3 lineup in WT, I use the TAM 2C along with the 2A4 with a very nice Chilean skin.
Israel also sold planes and weapons to Argentina to “defend against Chile” and later for the war against the British. There’s a good book, if you can find a translated version, called “Operación Israel: El rearme argentino durante la dictadura (1976-1983) (Ediciones Lumiere).” You might be interested in delving deeper into the topic. Now, back to the thread.
Looks like a sadistically good time
what br do you think it would be at? 10.0?
