I have been disinterested in WT for a moment, but then I have played since Beta and so it happens occasionally. Adult Real Life happens. I have gotten my mind wrapped around the Premium Spam that has developed over the past 3 years…It is a business no doubt, and the current gaming population is about RIGHT NOW will not go through the old Warthunder Grind…(ACDC, “Its a Long Way to the Top if you want to Rock and Roll”. I get it really.
Three weeks ago I had a pretty complicated knee replacement and so War Thunder was something I could come back to to keep me occupied and away from the tremendous pain.
Oh yes, my Beloved Russian Mig 29, now the Mig 29 9-13 now has R 73s!!! I’ve just revisited it… and its flight model is not bad again.
Right at the end of my last Mig 29 flights, I was like, "What the hell, r60 family of missiles at this BR, with probably two great shots with the r27ers… and a hopeful gunfight, people in lower BRs learn to flare those off, as well as the Aim 9Ls on current BR 12.3 planes. For instance any decent pilot drops one flare to ward off a Aim 9L at 10.3. And so, lets do it. I JUST QUIT FLYING IT, AS WELL AS OTHER PLANES I HAVE (cough, F16A) among a few others, unless I just want to see what I can do with a paper towel full of dog crap.
Mig 29 Fulcrum (9-13)----somewhat like the Gripen in that great flight performance, but not the largest missile loadout. But its radar coupled with the r27er (arguably the best non Fox 3 in game) and now 4 R73s…LOL I just love it!
If you use your throttle, flaps and airbrake…coupled with a good fuel loadout, its flight performance leaves me scared of nothing in a true gun dogfight—add the R 73s its a real Doc Holliday lol.
The vaunted and well deserved rep for F16… I will bring this Mig 29 against it in a true dogfight any day of the week and any other plane that comes along.
Mig 29 was a seal clubber 2 or 3 years ago…flying against F16s with Aim7m. I remember when F16s got Fox 3s, the Battle Chat was full of “Merica!” and that was cool they were so happy. But I dont fly planes because they are seal Clubbers,…I enjoy flying these planes for the fun of flying them…really never Grinded, I just flew what I had and had fun with it, bad or good trying to make the best of it.
Just ecstatic…the Mig 29 was really the only plane I ever really grinded for after test flights…everything else I just enjoyed or made the best of it until the next plane came along.

I have to stop you there sir, but at no time in history they were similar in performance, MiG-29 (9-12 & 9-13) are only slightly better than the absolutely dookie state they’ve been in.

LOL…very creative…Mate I get it…well done and Bravo! I have not flown that model of Mig yet…thank you for the tip…will try it out…I do not have the same enthusiasm for WT I once had…I have a different career and other real life things going on, but WT is one of my very fav Hobbies, and LOL cheaper than a lot of others if I choose to spend my hard earned cash…

Mate…I am somewhat of a duelist…with a lot of prop experience when I let go and immerse myself in game occasionally…This isnt a post about “your favorite plane”,because over the years I have noticed that a favorite plane for one depends on your flight style and what you favor, I dont indulge favorite plane conversations. You may certainly dust someone in your favorite plane…because it matches your personality…For instance in baseball…some pitchers are power pitchers and others Finesse.
But using your Throttle, Flaps, airbrake and knowledge of, “is this a horizontal turner or a vertical turner”, climb rate…etc., your fav and anothers fav will always be different. Therefore, you def handle a plane differently in one plane than another…Thank You for your perspective MeanBROSofD72805…Bruce Lee said, Never underestimate your opponent, thank you for you contribution.
Statistically, with guarded skepticism,if you look at the turn rate and climb rate…it is a BMF at its current Br…put that together with someone who likes it, and isnt half bad…just as you are in your Fav.
Have you seen all the arguments about, “The Best Plane”, …ridiculous to me. Your best plane, Mate, will be the one that fits your personality…ie. Boom and Zoom, BVR, HMD in close.
This is the plane for me, that I can make it do what I want it to do…and you will have your couple of planes that are your favs…that being said, …for instance you see these pilots in what is to me a sad plane, what is it? the early prop—SBc2 or something strike US Navy plane…to me its trash, but you have certain people that fly that thing like a champ.

This isn’t about favoritism of any particular vehicle you’ve mentioned, I was simply making a correction on a discrepancy I noticed.
Honestly what are you talking about? Nothing about this is related to what I said tbh.
My first thought is…If you dont understand the topic…not meaning to be rude…or comprehend the terms Ive just used…time to move on to your next topic and I am certainly glad we have not met as teammates as I am tired of flying at top tier 1 or 2 v 13.
