Only 15 matches in the pantsir while 128 matches in the Type 81. Maybe Play ~150 battles each, to the best of your ability, and then compare them? Obviously an unspaded pantsir is going to have a rougher time getting kills than a fully spaded one. Each kill and each death greatly impacts the overall KD you have in any vehicle. This is why it’s important to have a good number of battles, to reduce the effect that one bad game or one really good game has on the overall KD of a vehicle.
Have you played the Type 81 at 11.7 or at 11.0/11.3? If you got a good KD at the latter BRs, it would make sense, as the Pantsir would’ve had to face tougher opponents.
I hardly find A-10s (even the Late variant) to be reliable at launching mavericks at 8km while tracking a target.
Want a link to YouTube showing kills from even greater distance?
lol this topic again. I find the Su-25s, A-6E and other CAS planes more reliable to CAS from a distance than A-10s somehow. I never once seen an A-10 score multiple kills quickly in matches but others I have seen. Not too long ago I faced an A-10 and tried to straf my Fox after failing to use Mavericks from a distance of 5km, he still was unable to kill me as I hide behind cover and soon after was shot down by a Chinese SAM (PGZ04A) lol
Huh, interesting.
I’m guessing the UI reworks on guided munitions made it easier to shoot them from 8km.
Thanks for showing me this.

US CAS have to deal with strelas while USSR CAS have more leeway.
But from what I can see, the A-10 should easily be able to deal with strelas now though, and so I honestly think it’s just that they are impatient (since it does take a while to get the A-10 to high altitudes and get a good set up going).
A-6Es are almost obligated to go high, unlike A-10s, just because of the speed and altitude that is required to drop laser-guided bombs and land them on targets consistently. The A-6Es are also quite a bit faster than the A-10.

Yep, other attackers are better at lower range which many players prefer

Do you know if Kh-29T / TEs can land hits on moving targets greater than 10km now?
And at what B.R. we can see them? Same as A-10A?
11.0 at minimum (Su-25BM - Kh-29TE, MiG-27M - Kh-29T)
nice troll post. The pantsir has a pesa radar, multiple targeting capabilities and multiple simultaneous engagement capabilities, has guns for close range, irst, way faster missiles, and infinitely more range. The tansam has a very good missile, no radar, less range, is a dedicated AA that cannot engage ground target, even for self defense and has limited range, and less ammo.
Yea, Which is why a lot of us are not happy with this +0.3 Br raise. Pantsir can down a heli a lot easier and faster too than Type 81 C. If anything it should be 0.7 Br gap from the Strela since they perform very similar.

I think the Pantsir should go up to 12.3, the ADATS / ITO should go to 12.0, and then keep the BR of the tansam at 11.3.
Raise most of the Top Tier MBTs to 12.0 / 12.3 too (decompression).
the only thing better on the type 81C is the 3g overload over the pantsir missile (35g vs 32g). it’s already moronic that the tunguska is lower than it, being able to kill silently anything that flies thanks to it’s irst (wich is basically having a long range non-detectable and non-flareable guided missile).
You’re forgetting that the type 81c’s missile is IR-guided, so you do not have to guide it in once you fire it, unlike the pantsir. You can fire multiple and run to cover, but you cannot do that with the pantsir.
Tunguska’s missiles are abysmal and are only reliable at taking down distracted or very slow jets or helicopters.
