I can’t tell if this is sarcastic because of you mentioning ariete. Suffice to say Ariete should go to 9.7 long before it goes to 9.0 :)
seriously ignorant or out of touch i guess? MiG-23s do extremely well at 11.7
unfortunately in RB, 10.7 is a perma uptier BR last I played it
In my experience it’s mostly 10.3-11.3 games with some full uptiers mixed in. It’s also one of the least compressed BRs for jets since there aren’t any massive flight performance/missile performance leaps like we see at other BRs.

But I dont even try to play 9.3/9.7 anymore in ARB for much the same reason, you always get uptiered.
Of course its a compression issue, but I think subsonic and flareless 9.3s having to deal with a J35XS is a far bigger deal than a J35XS having to deal with a Mig-23ML and co.
Neither is a good situation to be in, but decompression only works in one direction.

the point is the need for general decompression, because J35XS can do jack to a MiG-23ML either. It would also require them to, in the exact same patch, uptier the 21MF and 21SMT and possibly F-8U.
I dont really see an issue with either of those moving up.
How I see it, J35XS is a comprable premium to the F-5C which is at 10.7 and is still a menace to deal with.
Yes its a compression issue, yes there needs to be a decompression. But flareless subsonics at 9.7 having to deal with that premium spam sucks (let alone 9.3s) and I doubt we’ll ever see something like the Hunter F6 moving down to 9.3 or even 9.0 out of sight of them because “things would suffer in uptiers against them” which I do personally find a little hypocritical
The difference in capability between a J35XS and a Mig-23ML is much, much lower than the difference in capability between an F-100/Hunter/Shengyang, and a J35XS.
Compression still is an issue between 10.7 and 12.0, but it’s nowhere near as bad as between 9.0 and 10.3.

4x all aspect + 2 Radar missile can carry 2x Napalm bombs and CMs 5 time more that XS

J35XS suffers in a full uptier it can move down without consequence of what it faces in a downtier so long as it doesnt suffer in an uptier?
Does that mean the Harrier GR1 (with no CMs at all on the hottest airframe in game) can move down to 9.0 because it has no CMs and suffers in full uptiers against anything with all-aspect IRs and against the supersonic aircraft in the 10.X range like the J35XS as its subsonic?

it is completley fine to keep J35XS in 10.3 because Gaijin move down F-86A and MiG-15 to 8.0 because it is subsonic and suffers from F-104A in full uptier.
So we will be going to have Harrier GR.1 in 9.0 very soon.

So for you it’s ok 9.3s like Mig 19s and F-104 that don’t suffer just bring pain to others at 8.3 like 2 years now it’s ok
But your issue is XS because you was flying in your Mig - 19s or Q5s or F-104 with basically killing and bombing with no issue now you get something that can chase you and send you to Hangar so yes is pain I understand
I was playing 8.3 and 8.7 have bunch try hards grinding K/D with jets basically was unplayable because of that now at least try hards have something to worry about , 5 to 12k games some of the accounts in Migs 19 and F-104s pathetic try hards
And yes I think GR.1 should go down and is long overdue

But I dont get why with the J35XS the only concideration is what things are like for it when in a full uptier.
Yes, it suffered at 11.3 massively, yes it would be rough for it at 11.0 because it would face the worst of the SARH slingers at 12.0. But at 10.7? Its barely even worth mentioning what it might face in a full uptier.
Everything suffers in a full uptier, but a supersonic aircraft, with half decent handling, CMs (yes only 12, but that is 12 more than many in a full downtier) and 6x Aim-9J is a potent platform. Something like a Hunter FGA9 really doesnt stand much of a chance to do much more than try and win a head on with it.
Imo, the J35XS is on par with aircraft like the F-5C currently at 10.7 already, whilst it sucks fighting those 10,7s in 9.7s like the Hunter F6 or Harrier GR1, that cant be helped due to compression, much like it cant be helped for the J35XS to face some things it struggles with in a full uptier at that BR like the Mig-23
No the recent chances make all premium Jets suffer massively except ML and F-4S rest got up tiered as hell that chance moste of people play style but with ofc Gaijin massive nerfs some got Napalm in fighters that make rest completely s… to play

The J-7D is quite good, same with the Av-8A/S and several others.
Once again i was trying realy trying to play 8,7 with G91s Italian and German not to mention Israeli A-4 guess what happens to me make me never play again 8.7 from disqust I endure then buy SPSK-Ariete-XS and bunch others yes because was so frustrating that make Arcade Battles get you more RP yes that’s Gaijin Balance
Maybe he thinks the addition of napalm is nerf. because it advocates more brain-dead, mindless bombing?
