So I have a suggestion for us not really a suggestion just a question what y’all think but what do y’all think about moving the jumbo to 5.3 or my last question is fix the BR displacement because the jumbo at 5.7 I don’t know why or if it’s just me I literally feel like I always get up tears to fight 6.7 German tiger 2 like it generally feels like out of 10 games 80% of them are full uptiers and 10% are slight uptiers and then the last 10% are downtiers and no offense how am I supposed to do anything to that thing like at all and I don’t know if I’m wrong I just don’t know how to kill anything with a jumbo in like these long range maps with like no cover and stuff, but I think the more logical thing to do is just up tier the tiger 2 or make it so the br displacement isn’t insane.
But let me know what y’all think

I think 5.3 would probably be a pretty good sweet spot (or as close as you can get to one) for this tank. I don’t play it or any low tier us besides the m18s, but its a bit high in BR currently imo

Ground vehicles should be having a major decompression within late WW2 period, the first and the second jumbo shouldn’t be apart by two BR steps yet feel like totally different vehicles.
Really? 5.0 is a bit low. It only struggles in uptiers, but it plays fine against tigers so I think it’s fine as it is, lowering it to 5.3 probably won’t change anything
Aside from the weak mg port, the below are just SOME of the 6.7 (or less) vehicles that could pen the UFP. And some are light tanks. Jumbo is a Heavy - how many diff vehciles should be able to pen it from the front?
5.7-6.0 is a good US lineup, including the jumbo, u wouldn’t have a lineup for it at 5.3. Also, you’d still face tigers as per usual, I didn’t face too many tiger IIs when I used the jumbo. I can’t use uptiers as a reason to move a tank down, imaging the jumbo in a 4.3 game, unkillable
You can pen frontally a tiger with apcr (not angling) plus a stab to easily destroy the tiger’s barrel. And with the H1 an aphe to the cupola more easier.
While a Tiger cant pen a Jumbo, it only needs to aim to the mg port, which its damn small, and if the jumbo player use bushes and start dancing, it would be almost impossible to hit it.
the 75mm jumbo probably should be 5.3 instead of 5.7.
its armour is very good but that gun against panthers is blatantly unfair. There’s no beating around the bush with that
anyone with a brain cell knows the D.I.E protocol for heavy tanks anyway. Disarm, Immobilise, Exterminate. Also known as “track and barrel torture” however with such a weak gun the barrel isnt even that high priority target, dist immobilising them and wacking a shell through the MG port or side is plenty.
-1 at 5.3 br 4.3 tanks and 4.7 tanks will suffer against the jumbo and would be a night mare killing.
5.7 is good spot but the issue with ground rb it’s still only 12.7 br when its. 13.7 or 14.0 br 6.7 tanks move to 7.0+ br would help the jumbo.
A lot of the complaints about the pen of the 75mm at 5.7 is fixed by just bringing APCR in your ammo load, it’s not the most lethal round but it’ll give Panthers and Tiger E’s a run for their money. I spawn the Jumbo loads at full uptiers for fun and I’ve done just fine.
The barrel isn’t a high priority because it’s so small and impossible to hit.
Anyone with a a functioning brain knows it’s a goated 5.7 tank. It’s only frontal weakspot is an mg port that will often bounce.
It has a wide variety of usable rounds, and has a low speed stab with an HMG.
