I don’t see how you are negative towards getting a new mbt, as i said we’ve been stuck with the same ones for so long and many top-tier tanks now urgently need APS. With the sheer number of ATGMs and other ordinance dropped from the sky, we need some kind of effective counter.

That’s exactly what he meant… no one wants more light vehicles (exactly what we’ve been getting almost every update) and that’s why we want new MBT’s which are actually interesting and fun to play
1st: those new modern mbts are not really unique, getting an another 2a7 variant is not going to bring much variety
2nd: the actually unique stuff we know pretty much nothing about, good luck bugreporting a kf51
3rd: adding more modern mbts is going to widen the gap between nations even further, nations such as israel and italy are going to be significantly behind others
this will only help against helis, no aps is going to save you from a kh38 or hammer

we COULD have gotten interesting light vehicles (centauro draco for example) but gaijin goes the easy way and just adds that is easy to add (case in point dragoon)

There’s no other option and top tier ground has gotten very stale.
Which is why we want tanks like Leo2A8 and T-90M Arena. Not new gen tanks like Kf51 and T-14
How so? This is just adding APS to almost copy paste tanks. Israel has trophy while Italy can get a leo2A7 with APS from techincal feasability

It will be a good while before we get the kf51 so don’t worry, as an example the leopard2a8 is the reasonable upgrade after the 2a7v

Germany only has 1 uparmored Leopard with good thermals. Of course having a 2nd vehicle with good armor and thermals would be a welcome addition!

There have barely been any new unique MBTs added in the last 2 years lol. The other stuff has had plenty of focus.
Light tank/IFV crap or plane crap has been the focus for far too long already.

Even without Kh-38/Hammer etc I would still bat for the Tan SAM, possibly CLAWS too since the ADATS is tragic compared to Ito and Pantsir S1.
There’s not much difference between something like F-16V and 2A8 in terms of adding content variety.
Makes a change since the previous years were mostly ground content.
And I don’t count on sudden change, as I think a lot of Gaijins focus rn will be Infantry.
Except, in ground battles, LINEUPS exist.
2A8 + 2A7V + 2A6A3
Is much better than
2A7V + 2A6 + 2A5

Not ground players…
Like, there are some who actually wish to play ground vehicles.
An Abrams with proper armor for a change would help a lot.
Ground vehicles and lineups should be balanced without needing to resort to CAS or rely CAS players.

It would help US air players, the F-15EX would not do much for US ground players at all.
And US air players have already received a disproportional amount of love compared to US ground players in the last 1-2 years.

And now they are even working on a whole new gamemode for air, while ground still hasn’t got even regenerative steering after 9 years.
Ground has felt deeply stalled for years, while air gets all the focus and spotlight.
Like, I’m glad air is getting love and all… but for God’s sake, throw a bone to ground players at least just to let us know they remember we exist…

I’d totally love to see the Armata, something with a reverse gear and neutral steering and access to a fire and forget ATGM.
Also the M1A2 SEPv3 with a Trophy Modification.
