I was hoping too much that China (being a proper major nation in the modern day, whether Gaijin likes it or not) could pull Japan along during the last time we get… But nope, we got neither. Instead it’s US and USSR like always, and not even shown in an exciting way.

It really just feels like the Asian nations are screwed over, SK barely has a presence in WT lol despite having many indigenous vehicles.

Not really, most of SK’s stuff until the modern era were American vehicles or modified American vehicles. SK was a major operator of the M48/M60, and also used T-80s and BMP-3s as well.
It really wasn’t until the K1, K2, K9, and K21 when SK started to move away from US reliance on the ground at least. Even in the air it’s all American until the KF-21.
I wouldn’t really call that roster as “a lot of Indigenous designs”, SK would be just another Israeli disaster given the lack of WW2 stuff and with even less modified vehicles, but would probably a fair bit more popular given how much larger of a presence SK gamers probably has in WT compared to Israeli gamers and it’s not as controversial of a nation either.
SK would be better off just having some of their domestic vehicles fill some spots in a tree, wouldn’t even go as far as say it should necessarily be a sub-tree due to my own personal dislike of the constant copy paste that’s been constantly happening lately…
I know, I more so meant that their modern vehicles aren’t even included in any capacity except the VIDAR.

Last time teaser was hype for Japan IMO was Kings of Battle with the Type 81 as before that Japan was severely lacking for top tier SPAA and that was one of the options people were asking for. Even F-15Js haven’t had teaser time IIRC and while the F-2 is iconic, as stated by Gaijin themselves, who knows what they decide. They might decide to delay the F-2 to put it in the next updates teaser, or just release it this update and featuer it in the update trailer that comes after update release.

I think the last time was actually the RCV(P), but as it has been for most Japanese vehicles, including the Type 81, it was just a split second before going back to showing off a Russian or American vehicle for the update.
Oh I meant for like something we really wanted/needed. I think the RCV was nice to have but kind of whatever overall.

In the new list i saw today, i think it’s Olivia’s, it doesnt include the F-2 anymore, not even ground, just 3 boats for Japan :(
Don’t worry, we have 3 Hornets for the US. Clearly that was worth the budget and F-2 can wait

Will have to see tomorrow if it got actually delayed or not or if there’s a chance it could get added at the last minute. Unless Gszabi confirms later
I am also afraid of post dev “barely in time” F-2. Even another update wait for it seems better than not having a dev period where devs actually work fast on resolving bug reports

I’d rather have something placeholder than not because chances are they’ll never work on it in depth like we’d hope anyway. Better get it out and fix it over time than forever postponing

Not surprised, they’ve always hated Japan.
The leak list is for what would be added to the Dev Server tomorrow. Considering how earlier leaks said the F-2 could be delayed it could also just show up in a later dev server update. Always bound to have a couple vehicles show up in later dev servers.
I thought we’ve been eating good lately, but now I realize we’ve been getting protein shakes while everyone else has rëal food
