Probably should be implemented as this page. If target is seen only on RWR it should have indication as it is on RWR. If seen by radar it should either be confirmed or changed to actual waht it actually is. Like for example Su-27 would be M29 on RWR, but Radar correctly recognizes it as Su-27

When/if IIR missiles come, do you guys suspect only one of the AAM-5/AAM-5B to come or both and if only one then which one?
All IIR IRCCM in game is basically the same atm, so it won’t really matter.

We have the most modern F-15s and F-2s. (Technically there is a more modern F-15, but really sensor fusion + larger RWR range is not gonna be noticable).

Yeah there is, the F-15JSI, basically an F-15EX upgrade package for the J(M) (Type 1). It should be undergoing initial testing right now, but we’ve yet to receive any confirmation of a flying prototype as we’d need to add to game yet.
Cool, does it get the extra pylons and stuff or just some new avionics? And does it get new engines?
It doesn’t get the new pylons. Even worse still, it doesn’t actually keep AAM-4B / AAM-5 compatability. So for warthunder purposes it might actually be a downgrade over the J(M), lol. Unless gaijin gives it 120Ds, then it will be more of a marginal upgrade/sidegrade

Because its a lockhead martin project, and they hate japan using domestic missiles because they don’t want japan touching their OFP/MC, (Also they wanna just sell more US missiles, lol). Also Boeing/Mcdonell Duoglas never actually gave japan permission to install domestic missiles in the first place, lol.

Tbf japan is trying to get domestic weapons to stay integrated, but we’ll see how it goes.

The rule is that even if the country doesnt have X weapon, if the vehicle can use it, it can get it in game, so im curious if this can become a CAS striker like de E
