There s a ASM-2 and ASM-3

When I start it all I get is the same loadout you already showed
So left to right it’s AAM-3, AAM-3, AAM-4, Harpoon, ASM-3, then the same mirrored to the other side. How can I select AAM-2 instead?

The Inner most mounting racks have the connectors needed to fire MRMs/ASMs, including specific umbilicals, electrical connectors, and arming mechanisms. Physically atleast, it is possible to use these for mounting solutions. There is a possibility that the FCS can not support more weapons then generally ran, as the FCS had very limited ram for running things in parrallel. With no evidence directly stating it can’t, and proof that it’s atleast physically possible to mount, there is a good possibility of the F-2 getting the inner pylons as weapons capable, even if they’re not actually used for weapons IRL.

Didn’t you state it’s just F-16AJ with more wing area and different engine?
So it would be missing stuff like the weight and drag, wing shape, control surface sizes and shapes, higher structural limit and center of mass changes

image is of the outer pylon, however i have confirmed through other images that the inner most pylon includes the same markings, simply used the outside one as it was the only way to get it all in one legible image.

Unfortunately your F-2 project is not official news.
Sources for all these? We can try to use this data to argue about adding 6 AAM-4 for F-2 if it comes with 4+4 loadout.
Some models and pictures of F-2 Super Kai have (I think) AAM-4 on outer pylons as well.

Early in development it was often shown mounting the 4 ASM + 2 Sparrow + 2 SRM loadout, but after the mockup on the first prototype this wasn’t seen again. The part about wing cracking issues during flight testing is what I remembered from the old forum, I don’t have any sources at hand. But I’ll send it here if I find anything on it (I just ordered a mew book on the F-2, should arrive by the end of the month)

But I’m still not hopeful they would be added even if this is true, since that would still only mean they were non-functional mockups, and not prove that they can actually be mounted and used like that on armed F-2s.
Outer pylons are probably AIM-120, Super Kai leaned very heavily into integrating more US systems like F110-GE-132 EIPE engine, JHMCS, Link 16 datalink, PANTERA TGP, US built AESA radar (can’t find which) and even AIM-9X over the Japanese domestic AAM-5.
