Not having a HMD isn’t a major issue at 13.0
Not having one is definitely a problem at 13.7 but still can be easily dealt with (tallbox ACM go brr)

The 13.0 was just for the challange. The 13.7 is eclipsed, working radar or not by…

Yes it was a fun challange with a radar.
Now its just another dusty one.
Grippy 13.0 very similar and alot of fun, deserves its rating…

I also play it for fun, and I know several other people who do as well.
the 13.0 F-2A ADTW is one of the best planes at it’s BR. People who don’t do well with it are actually just bad.
It used to be good. Then Gaijin
It still is pretty good.
The radar is buggy, yeah, but it’s still plenty usable, and better than basically everything else at 13.0.

Manual select wont help with it losing lock to ghost missiles/ when it feel like it
I manual select a lot of the time. Just helped show the ghosting
F-2 is best 13.0 after su-27 imo, sure it’s terrible at long range, unlike the su-27, but within like 10km the aam3s really come to life.
Sparrows are sparrows though and they will always suck which is why f-2 will probably never be as good as the su-27 variants at 13.0.
Unless the f-2 gets something like the aam4 (which will jsut make it a copy paste of the tech tree one and will put it at 13.7) or gets aim 7ps it’s not going to be the absolute best.
