Oh wow. Also just out of curiosity can’t it also take 8 AAM-4s? (If they will fix them)

No, the AAM4 can only take the aim7 slots

Shouldnt it be 120B? I dont recall reading about 120A being mounted, regardless this is a welcome change :D

Also is there a report about the missing MAWS? If there is i cant seem to find it.

Nope, I don’t think there is a report yet, I went through the reports too. There is only J-11 so far about missing MAWS and that got ignored because of no info on the matter

It is even 3D modeled on the plane itself just like with the F-15C and J(M) but if you don’t have information on the thing it’s just ignored like bruh

There is no information on MAWS unfortunately.

Wouldnt it be virtually the same as the F15C MSIP? It uses the same parts (visually atleast) so i dont think it would be a big strech to use F15C MSIP sources to report missing MAWS for the F15J (M).

J/APQ-1 is Japan domestic addition to F-15.

Im aware that it is, but the detection hardware itself seems to be the same, if not very simmilar. If there is no information on J/APQ-1 then you might be able to get away with using the american system instead.

Spoiler

Those things are different color and I never heard about MAWS on F-15C, some american export built F-15 version have it but in different fairings.

nvm then :P

Could have sworn F15C had MWS, atleast in DCS it did.

RWR warning for radar homing missiles or MAWS warning for IR missiles?

could answer the question I guess?

IR missiles

The F-15J carried the AIM-120B as a test. And since only Fighter Training Group’s F-15 can mount the AIM-120B on the wing hardpoints, I feel that only the fuselage hardpoints should be used.

Sounds interesting
Do you have source about that?

“Fighter Training Group’s F-15” how does it differ?

Pretty sure the AN/ALQ-127 & -153 is a PD MAWS fitted to the F-15 (It might be the Pod on top of the left hand vertical stabilizer of the US variants).
