Aam4 listed as 80km, someone bug report it so it reaches 100km
they not try it in game, are they metion this has tws and hmd?
Hmd is the modification that introduces aam5
You could also tell its more modern by the lack of a black circle near the back of the cockpit
i mean the F-15C got hmd, it would kinda sad that the new F-15J not getting it too

well, maybe they just both usa and jp F15C/J MISP II. so both of them have HMD.
the aam5 I think may in game when F2 and AESA radar and AIM9x exist

So its the MTDP type I F15J with a upgrade from the type II package, under the unofficial name of the first upgrade, the f15j msip
The only thing needed to introduce AAM-5 is modify the LAU-114. HMD just give it better performance. Technically, the F-15J already in game had no problem to use AAM-5.
LAU-128 is necessary for AAM-5.
If it has AN/APG-63(V)1 and JHMCS, yes its F-15J(M).

Would this lot have IRST or did that come later
The IRST has never been adopted and only saw testing on #12-8928 which is operated by ADTW.
There is the IRST pod built out of a fuel tank which was made to fix the problem of the nose mounted one. I think there was limited adoption which could go on any model.

Gaijin made AAM-4 to AMRAAM almost identical stats😡
At least it should get better range and larger warhead as it’s an equivalent to AIM-120C7 or whatsoever
