Mirage 2000 Thread : Variants, performance, characteristics and sources

A report had been made and forwarded about this

Already 3 sources are talking about 9700kgs of thrust.

9700*0.9=8730 it is top, no stok

Your Missing the removal of MICA-EM and MAGIC-2, being replaced by MICA-IR which is the only Missile the Mirage 2000D RMV ever Carried.

Also the Matra Durandal Bombs “Anti-Runway” (also called BLU-107/B by USA when they adopted it on F-111E) would be fun to have (Ventral Pylon)

Doesnt matter. Magic 2 capability is still there on the aircraft

Magic-2 have been retired from French Forces in 2020, while the first Mirage 2000D RMV was delivered the 7th of January 2021

No sense to keep Magic-2 on the Mirage 2000D RMV, if we keep realism on the way.

Loadouts are a balancing factor.

I know that, but this one only carries 2 missiles, doesn’t reach Mach 2 (only mach 1.4) so it’s rather slow.

Similarly to Su-25 and A-10’s they got superior missiles for the BR they’re sets in.

Therefore, we can ask the same here, as per case law made for Su-25’s and A-10’s

Also, would be perfect moment to add Rafale M F1 at 13.7 (doesn’t have MICA-IR) and create a 14.3 for Mirage 2000-5F with MICA-IR and then decompress the whole game.

I already reported this internally for what it concerns radar and MICA-EM.

You are wrong, RMV upgrade didn’t removed the capability of using Magic 2.
That is a Mirage 2000D-RMV with Magic 2 pylon

Spoiler

You can also see it as listed on the 2000D-RMV Technical Sheet

The technical data sheet doesn’t precise “Mirage 2000D RMV”

Also SCALP have been introduced Mirage 2000N(2000)and Mirage 2000D(2005)

The Pylon alone don’t prove anything, as it haven’t been changed for use of MICA-IR :
Here with Magic-2

Here with MICA-IR

Because MBDA have been noticed on Technical resume to make the MICA-IR with same interface than Magic-2.
(Both on Mirage 2000-5, but the pylons are the same for every Mirage 2000 family)

We can then go for my last post you didn’t see:

“Magic-2 have been retired from French forces in 2020, the 1st Mirage 2000D RMV have been given to forces the 7th January 2021”

It does, look at the upgraded weaponry exclusive of the RMV.
Also if you don’t believe me; you can see the sheet at bottom page: https://www.defense.gouv.fr/air/nos-aeronefs/nos-avions/mirage-2000

It does. Magic 2 pylon slightly angles on the front while MICA pylon is perfectly straight

Magic 2

MICA

You could notice it from the photos you sent but they are too low-resolution.

Armament is decided by Developers and it also is a balancing decision. Magic 2 can be carried by the Mirage 2000D-RMV so I don’t see an issue with it having Magic 2.

This argument holds no value in game

hi, I just realized that the BAT120LG is also missing but the bug report was put as accepted so I imagine that it was also reported to the developers

Hello. I forwarded BAT120LG as well, In my forum comment I listed only the armament you suggested in the following reports

Now it’s just a matter of if they’ll do anything… At the current rate nothing will be done before the update releases, hell, even the MICA’s might still be there when the update drops since recent update timelines would show the update probably dropping next week.

F-15I has been in since the start of the dev server and still hasn’t received any of it’s Israeli armaments that had been “Passed” since day 1, I seriously fear the RMV that was just added a couple days ago will face the same fate.

The dev server will finish on the 6th so the update will probably not arrive until the week after. Hopefully this extra time will help fix all the bugs

Btw, is the CAS weaponnary of Mirage 2000-5F will be removed since Mirage 2000D RMV would be as good if not better on it’s own?

Your assuming 10% intake losses based on test bench public thrust. There is nothing further to discuss.

The 2000-5f does actually represent also 2000-5mk2 and 2000-9 from Greece and Saudi Arabia (I would have preferred to see at least the -9 as an event or premium aircraft) so the RMV never was the subject

10% is the normal input loss
