Does anyone have the original of this photo? Maybe this 639/3-JJ is appears to be equipped with some sort of HMD helmet.
I just can’t see this being a regular Gallet LA-100.

If it’s a SCORPION, the visor should be black around the visor, but the helmet in this picture doesn’t look like it.
Similar to Elbit TARGO used by Rafale in Qatar and Greece, but the photo is unclear so we cannot be certain.
The AASM was never mounted or fired by the Mirage 2000D-RMV
I know that, but since we tested the AASM on 2000N, we can’t ignore it.
Either way, it’s clear that even if 2000D-RMV were added in the game at present, it would be little different from 2000DR-1.
So because a similar plane tested a weapon it should have it ?
The RMV version would still bring GPS-guided GBUs, a new targeting pod and (dreaming) IR Mica. I know Gaijin likes to invent weapons for French planes but if they start putting anything in it will no longer make any sense.

GAIJIN has already ported PGM and Magic 2 pylons from 2000EG, 2000-9, etc. to 2000-5F, so the possibility that 2000D-RMV will do the same cannot be ruled out.
Perhaps there is a good chance that Enhanced Paveway or MICA-IR will be added in the future, but until then, nothing has changed from the 2000D-R1.
I know well and I am (unfortunately) almost sure that if they add the plane it will be with AASM. For me they should have waited a bit before adding this plane, in order to give it a realistic payload.

I’m also rather hoping for a realistic payload, but it’s also true that it’s up to GAIJIN to decide what actually happens.

So besides MICA nothing interesting.
IRL the main update is the avionics, not the weapons. So yes for the game the 2000D RMV don’t bring a lot( even if the mica and gps guided stuff is quit a good upgrade)
Considering Mirage 2000-5F got A2G weapons we can safely assume RMV will get AASM
It’s wild how french players fight against things like this. This game isn’t reality and it never has been. Planes and tanks both already are given weapons they never used for the sake of balancing. As long as the plane is an actual upgrade I’ll be happy. Especially that there is a zero percent chance of getting the MICA IR, not that it’s even that good of a missile but that’s an aside.
Id be surprised if we get anything new other than Damocles, AASM, GPS bombs, offset gun pod and maybe HMD.
Personally I am a simulation player and I would like the game to remain the most faithful to reality. I do not fight against the addition of this weapon but against the way it will be implemented and the way it will raise in BR an airplane which did not specically need to find itself in 13.7

I imagine well but I am sad to see that the game don’t care anymore about the real capacities of planes
It never cared about that tho. It was always about nothing more but physical capability and proof of concept.
