France has announced it is donating Mirage 2000’s to Ukraine. I believe it was within the last few days.
Which makes sense as it is effectively the French equivalent to the F-16.

That may likely be retrofitted to carry AASM.
although with said retrofit the devs may well conclude that its is a separate airframe and not a true French 5F due to the modifications and cosmetic re brading under the ukrainian air force.
There is hope though, as long as the gps guidance is omitted, and aasm only has its IR/IOG/LSR guidance modes.
What would be more interesting would be if the Ukrainian Mirage 2000-5Fs get outfitted with MICA NG IR and MICA NG EM. That would open the door for the Mirage 2000-5F variants to remain relevant in-game for much longer.

Doubtful that france would send top of the line missiles to ukraine. They’ll send the oldest stock they have or mica at best.
In the first place, france doesnt even care about ukraine, they only started offering decent support and stopped appeasing Putin when the russians started threatening french control over french colonies in africa recently. Ukraine is purely a proxy war for france.
I suspect MICA first yeah, and it will be several years before they ever consider MICA NGs probably. I can’t imagine though that Europe/US will send Ukraine F-16s without having atleast AIM-120Cs if not the AIM-120D.

France has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning, they were a lot of Caeser canon that have been send at the beginning
Even if I don’t support Macron or those decisions, Macron is the only one that stood up against Putin, now they’re talking about sending French military trainer in Ukraine

Is the FM still fucked to the point of F15 outpulling it, or has it been touched up?
You can still outpull F-15, the problem is bleeding speed and you’ll compress and shoot out in front of the F-15 if you’re staying on afterburner. I made this mistake before, but I also rectified it in the same game…

Hey, I don’t know if you guys would be willing to help me post this issue related to the French Air Force? Although it’s unrelated to the performance of the Mirage 2000, all French aircraft use the SNEB 23. If the drag of the SNEB 23 could be corrected, it would benefit all players of the French Air Force.

about the Mirage 2000 in arcade that can’t even pull as hard as in realistic
I see that Gaijin added sliders on the dev server to select the amount of chaff/flare ratio. I wonder how this would work on planes like the mirages that have fixed amount of flares/chaffs due to the 2 systems being separated and not interchangeable…

Not saying that F-15 should be bad regarding AOA or nose authority and I obviously do not know which exact speeds you both were at but I had a similar experience where the F-15 had 10 minutes less fuel but was performing as if it had 3d thrust vectoring while my M2K did behave as if it was a B-29 approaching stall speed.
