This is just a lame excuse.
Just because Soviets lacks R73 right now doesnt mean Magic-2 should be suffer in IRCCM section.
Oh wait but Soviet side did suffered when Mig29 was first released and what was the solution?
Adding R27ER without counterpart of course.
Excuse for what? You were comparing it to the R-27T, it’s far superior. Your comparison was therefore not valid at the time.
Also, the R-27ER is defeated by flying low to the ground, the Magic 2 would not have such a limitation. There is no foolproof way of defeating it, you must defend accordingly.
Whats next, you’re gonna tell me Tomcat is better in bvr because it has more Fox-1 missiles?
Grow up and accept the fact R27ER is superior to any radar missile in this game and it basically has no counterpart.
Also preflaring is defending accordingly but notching isnt? What kind of logic is that?
And if you are gonna cry about Magic-2 already what will you do when they add Aim-9M-X, MICA,IRIS-T and R73 series ?

with 1.3km range in tail chase ,which can be a balancing point
Magic 2 IRCCM has only started investigation this year.
Be patient for change, sir.
27ER has counterpart: Aim-7F/M complimented with Aim-9Ls.
That’s the best other countries have.
After Mig-29s fire their R-27ERs [which are as easy/difficult to defeat as Aim-7F/Ms], they only have R-60Ms as backup.
27ER doesnt have counterpart , stop claiming AİM7F-M are equal to 27ER cause in every scenario 27ER beats both missile easily.
27ER is basically a powerhouse that holds massive advantage against any Fox-1 missiles in this game, its even comparable to some Fox-3 missiles because of its charecteristics.
And since flare resistance nerf you can easily decoy Aim9-L just like R60M.So R60M is bad is also another lame excuse.

I’m not crying about anything. Yes, pre-flaring and notching ae both defending accordingly… I never said that it wasn’t? I have no idea what point you’re trying to assert right now with all these comparisons. I have no issue with AIM-9M/X, MICA, IRIS-T, R-73 etc as long as they’re added with / around equivalent ordinance for other countries.

It doesn’t matter if the R-27ER has more range and speed than the AIM-7F/M if it is just as easily defeated (sometimes more so). Yes, the R-27ER is comparable to some early Fox-3 it’s true but that doesn’t mean you can’t just fly 5m off the ground and know you’re perfectly safe due to multi-path. No such game mechanic will save you from a missile that has IRCCM like Magic 2 in the future.
it will help you in front aspect , side aspect no
From the way you describe it, they were talking about 1st dev server, not last one.
He even showed his support for Magic 2 being made accurate.

Bro stop being Matrixed this guy filled reports for you to have accurate Magic 2 can you say the same? If someone is to blame it would be gaijin devs themselves for not chosing the most important topics submitted when they fix or add something based on comunity reports but then again for the moment there surely is better things to do than making the Magic 2 effing OP

So is the magic 2 (superior flare rejection to the R-73) going to be something you want to keep on the Mirage F1? I still stand by the fact that the R-73 was easily flare-able on the dev server, though I am not certain how realistic that was or wasn’t yet because I do not have much to go on regarding sources for the R-73s resistance to CM’s.
Why is it necessary to insult me in your comments?
R73 was fine on first dev server and no he was talking about second dev server.
Yes, and on the second dev server it was easily flare-able. People who say otherwise aren’t being very honest. I suppose we will see when it comes to the live server since it should have similar performance then as well based on what I know about the missile. (Crossed array seeker with 2 elements).
Magic 2 in comparison is a crossed array seeker with 4 elements.
Tbf, the R-73 wasn´t working as intended on either dev server. It often refused to track or pull any AoA at all.
(It often tended to overlead just like the AIM-9L back when the A-10 arrived, but far worse)
Or far too much AoA, but still… the R-73 and Magic 2 will need to be flared off similar to the methods needed to flare off the TY-90. Trying to find someone with that helicopter now to settle a different debate so I can demonstrate how missiles with IRCCM are handled in the future.

Why are you still lying?
Second dev server R-73 was not flarable and everybody knew that including you.
Yet you constantly refused to acep that reality until people proved it countless times, still at the end you are still denying it which im not even surprised.
Also if Magic-2 with realistic values makes you concern on Mirage F-1 they can always remove that missile and lower its br.
İn first dev server it was doing many silly things i agree even on second dev server it was doing some stupid things.
The thing is with second dev server it became a monster when it was about denying countermeasures.
I think you’re confusing the missile being easily flare-able with the F-14 being too hot or something.
Not even close.
İt was all about R73 from second dev server and it was about how busted was it is, even DEFYN made a pretty funny video about that.
You claimed those moments was cherrypicked and R73 was flarable while truth was the opposite.
