Gimbal for Kh-38 (60±)
Gimbal for AASM (90±)

Also, you can shoot down Kh-38 from the angle it comes in at. I have succesfully managed to shoot down 3 Kh-38 in a row coming for me before. Here’s one clip where I managed to shoot down 2 in a row.

With AASM, the higher trajectory shape means that it is near impossible to shoot it down.

It’s very confusing because yes the 2000-9 is also called a Mirage 2000-5 Mk2. But photos showing the French Mirage 2000-5 Mk2 shows it’s a two-seater.

actuallly they dont have fix the issues about Mirage 2000’s unguided payload, they ignore us. Is a shame. I have report that mouths ago

When it comes to 2 centerline bombs on the Mirage 2000D, they are either GBU-12 or GBU-49 which is a slight upgrade over the GBU-12.

You can see that GBU-49 is in service on the Mirage 2000D-R2. We have the R1 in-game.

I know that the double central carriage is supposed to be composed of GBU-12 or 49 but in the photo the guide mudule does not look like one nor the other (the ring is missing at the front), we looks more like the front of a Paveway III (wide front with a bulb).

The only bomb corresponding in terms of guidance module and size would be the GBU-22 but few sources speak of it and only the French Wikipedia page for Paveway bombs indicates that it can be fired from Mirage 2000D and Rafale

If it were ever confirmed that the plane can carry this bomb, it would be very interesting because the Paveway III is much superior in terms of guidance to the Paveway II

EDIT :
After research, the website of the French Ministry of Defense indicates that the Mirage 2000D RMV can carry them, the GBU-22 is therefore in service in France and we can assume that the 2000-5 MK2 can also carry them.

You have proven your point. AASM is a beast and I understand fully now.

There are no satellite navigation mechanics in the game
However, in reality, the X-38 has satellite navigation

Are non of the later Mirages capable of carrying 2,000 lb bombs?

(Besides the x 1 gbu 24)

Since 2000 Serie France kinda started droping the idea of using heavy bombs and dumb munitions. Most literal proof of that is Rafale which carries no dumb bombbs anymore only guided precision munitions. 2000 D still uses conventional bombs but afaik it’s the only one. But it has twin and quadruple? rack for bombs increasing it’s capacity to a dozen or more of bombs carried at once.

They don’t do it or it isn’t capable?

Feel like the Mirage 2000D should be able to carry at least x 3

Don’t do it + never planed afaik so you can’t go sayin to gaijin “Hey it’s possible do it” if you have no visual or textual proof to prove your point.
From a rationnal perspective yes M2KD could carry 3 or more 2000lbs bombs but it has never been done and there is no proof it’s possible.

Dumb bombs are still being carried on Rafale and were in fact added quite late; F.3R.

Pictures are just really rare.

According to the French Ministry of Defense the 2000-D can only fire Mk82s

Mirage 2000 D | Ministère des Armées (defense.gouv.fr)

Oof hope it’s not only 250 kg that has been approved lul. because 6 bombs is like… Not much. I mean from a real life perspective i could understand it’s enough for the missions that involve these loads but in WT it would be meh if it’s only 250kg that can be carried.

Mk.81 / 82 / 83 were cleared for the Tri-Bomb rack.

according to this image and this source, the Mk81 and Mk82 bombs were validated on the triple rammer, the Mk83 for the double one, but the Mk84 is in single carriage

RAFALE : Armements et emports - RAFALE : The omnirole fighter (omnirole-rafale.com)

The figure is, as many other, not fully accurate and I don’t recommend using such as reference (wouldn’t be accepted for reports or similar anyway).

I have a figure at the end of the Rafale thread which is more accurate and meets all current Standards;

Edit: this site announces that the Mirage 2000-D could carry 400kg (880 lbs) bombs, however I am not sure of the source

all sources contradict each other for the validity of carrying bombs larger than the Mk82 on the Mirage 2000. It is possible that the only bomb weighing more than 250kg on board the Mirage-2000 is the BM-400 and the Belouga, modular cluster bombs.

gaijin would accept the load out if the pylon is capable, no?

Nope it has to be supported by visual or textual confirmation that it has been tested or done.
