follow up with a very small report on the max mach speed of the Mirage 4000 : Community Bug Reporting System
If they fix the supersonic issues (currently takes more than 10 minutes to reach Mach 2, 15km instead of 3), it might help a bit

I hadn’t flown the Mirage 2000-5F since the bracket changes in the sim, and I have to say it’s stupid; the plane is simply superior to all the others. (This is also helped by the number of players in these BRs who are beginners and play with premium aircrafts)
That’d turn the M4K into a Eurofighter at 13.0. Gib please
Then, do the yak 141 treatment and give it MICA EM (up to 14) and it’d be an absolute monster

I am here today to once again proclaim my love for the M2K. I only have 1 of them which is the M2000C-S4 that I grinded a tonne for in its event.
I had never flown a M2K before that so I decided to keep it to see what it was like. Boy Howdy this thing and its playstyle fit me like a glove. Just now again I put up another Ace. (mind you I am not really a good pilot in this game)
F4E got a simple Magic2 deathstick in his exhaust pipes, F4EJ lost the missile joust with his AIM7 against my 530D.
Then I outran some F18s that were chasing me.
I made a chasing KfirC7 overshoot and took him one circle from which be bailed and pulled up. Another Magic 2 “I simply win these” no skill shot was achieved because IRCCM cares not for your flares.
Then a MIg23ML became acquainted with the concept of radar gunsight guided DEFA shells and he exploded.
Finally energy trapped an F5E and a J8. I took the wings off the latter with more DEFA rounds.
Genuinely, it is the plane that allows a mediocre pilot like me to pull this off.
Its plenty fast, maneuvers like a dream, the 530Ds are excellent, the Magic 2s are monstrous and the DEFAS work pretty dang well.
I believe in M2K supremacy

The Mirage 2000 is indeed, and according to my completely objective opinion, the best plane in the game. I don’t know if you have it, but I really hope that one day you’ll have the opportunity to play the Mirage 2000-5F in simulation mode because it’s the best possible gameplay experience; it’s really the game mode that brings out the full potential of the aircraft.

Hey Miragers, I have a question. Generally there isn’t a jet that I am afraid of at the BR my M2KCS4 sits at.
F18s are slow as sin and can easily be left in the dust. F14s are fat and can be killed in a dogfight.
The problem is F16s. They generally give me hell. Is there anything I can do better than them (Except for slamming them in a headon because My 530D isnt as easily defeated as the AIM7 is)?
I usually just straight up die if there is an F16 on my 6
Unfortunately, if you have an F-16A on your tail, you have virtually no chance of getting out of it because in a dogfight, it’s simply better. The only solution (in my opinion) would be to try and make it overshoot on the first turn (a very tight turn with zero throttle and airbrakes deployed, ideally vertical) in the hope that it will pass in front of you so you can hit it with a Magic 2.
It might work, but it’s a desperate strategy. If you don’t hit it with a missile, it’s certain death because you’ll simply lose all your speed.
F-16 just beats M2K in a dogfight, so you have to just try to maintain distance and use hit and run unless you think you entered the dogfight in a better position
F-16 overperforms in lift allowing it to keep up with a M2000 in ITR.
Get F-16 nerfed and you can beat it.
I thought the Mirage should be able to just point its nose faster than an f16 should just based on it having so much more wing area. Obviously give up all your speed doing so. But I feel an M2K should be able to 1 circle an F16 (for just 1 turn before falling from the sky).
It obviously does not, in WT, but I dont even know if it could IRL
it’s not like mirage 2k isn’t overperforming either.
