guys, is it me or MiG-29’s TWS for Rubin radar broken? like it can’t track vertically and you had to point your nose to selected target or manually set the radar stabilizer so the target you chose keep illuminate
This wasn’t happen in like 6 months ago (or the last time I play MiG-29 (before nuclear thunder) god knows when)
It’s normal, neither N019 or N001 follows the target you have selected in TWS vertically

I mean right now since the radiaton homing weapons are incredibly accurate, the R-27EP would be incredibly OP. Would be like super manuverable Kh-25MTU with longer ranger, faster, and proximity.

Btw do y’all know what happened to red 741 since 2022, cuz as far as I’m aware MiG used to use it as its MiG-35 export demo, but with the MiG-35S/UB in service, I don’t see why MiG doesn’t use an actual MiG-35 for export advertising. Though it was equipped with the Zhuk-AE at MAKS 2019 which would give it the best radar on a MiG (assuming they didn’t remove the AESA when making it flyable again).
When will we get Co-Up cockpits and 9-12UB and stuff like that

For the MiG-35 expo, the wings and vertical stabilizers were replaced and made it non-flyable, so here is the same camo with them added back to make it flyable again, May 2021
There’s also a yellow band where the radar electronics are so I think Zhuk-M was added back, which might explain why its radome wasn’t open at MAKS 2021.
