Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

No that’s the 24 degrees AOA limit at 9G

Post stall it’s generating a point angle more than a turn and turn radius.

Yeah…
the pilot can totally pull through the 24 degrees AOA limit. He’s so strong he can prevent the lift curve falling. Totally

I wonder how the Yak-141 radar fares against it.

Did it even have a radar irl

I meant in game.

Also irl I think so, but it couldn’t fit Zhuk and IRST at the same time.

Indicated velocity is true velocity.

Go learn aerodynamic.
There is no lift force decrease afther this aoa.

It did. It test fired R-73s and R-27Rs and Ts (at least one of the prototypes). Although in-game radar isn’t the one that was actually installed and IRST is pure fiction

Lmao

You’re another one of them

Indicated airspeed is not velocity it’s the relative force of air pressure over the force of the ambient air

It changes based on altitude temps and pressure

Over 24 degrees AOA lift does decrease due to buffet and stall (MiG-29 specific) every aircraft is different.

Just tried for science they literally have no chances, unless they are on the ground and taking off or are simply AFK.

Makes sense as they aren’t really designed for this, but it’s cool that they track the jet radars.

for pilot its true velocity, i well know what is tas and ias

go learn aerodynamic x2
there is no lift force decrease

Lmao you’re a fool

Answer me this

At 10,000 meters at 600 KPH IAS at 7G will the turn rate be the same at 600 kph IAS at sea level with the same G

R-27EP will save us trust

The ETs are super fun in the Nuclear Thunder game mode.

Figures, people usually don’t even look around or in a constant state of sensory overload. Kittens in a pool honestly.

Just go to like 8km and rain 'em down.

Hitting 45km Fakour shots is quite fun. And with average level of US players in this event, you can make even R-60M into a god tier weapon

Pilot can definitely pull through 24 degree aoa limit…

For example here is 26 degree aoa limit for diving.

Gonna make a lift bug report using this chart later over the Easter weekend similar to the su-27 lift bug report

Or you learn how to interpret the chart

That’s doesn’t have any max G capability on it it looks like slant ranges for rocket and bomb attacks.

What does it say then

Slant ranges
