just another day in the office for the fulcrum

I’m waiting for someone make suggestions domestic USSR/RU MiG-29 two-seater in the future

Unfortunately out of the 3 options specifically for Russia, they’re all kinda lack luster… Ignoring the 9.41 based airframes at least.

Lackluster? That sounds like exactly what Gaijin is looking for in every Fulcrum implementation

With the 29M, when you’re in TWS mode and detect a target on the HUD and select it with TWS, a small arrow appears at the bottom left showing the direction the target is heading. However, when you lock it and switch to STT mode, that arrow disappears. Shouldn’t that arrow remain so it always indicates the direction the target is moving?

That is wrong right?

it is
but my mig-29 hud reports are all getting ignored

here is the report that includes that specific issue

Well, imagine MiG-29 9.13, but no radar, slightly heavier, and with SPO-15LM/L-150 w/ UV-5-08 depending on the model…

Or an even more obese MiG-29SMT with an itty bitty plate sized radar dish and SPO-15LM…

hes so pretty

Don’t u mean one of the ‘UB’ trainer variants without radar (IRST only) but with added bullet sponge and weight of additional controls?

More like a ghoul.

I would’ve despise and burn this MiG I was the Mikoyan himself.

for fun did few tests to compare mig fm to manual with other planes
mig correspond ratio to PA and german manual is 1 (with like 1-2% losses in some moments)
there is no “its slighty better then in manual” like devs like to answer
then i compared it to others
if statshark doesnt lie the f16c and f18c hard overperfrom turn in their manuals
f16c like 0.6 sustained g
f18 like 2-4deg (insane) at sustained turn on low speeds, and underperform 1-1.5 on high speed
f15a tested in game, overperform manual like 0.3-0.5g maybe more

MiG-29SMT’s cockpit map (idk what it’s actually called) seems offset too high.
Can someone confirm this on their setups too?

Happens in other planes as well, it’s fairly common

bro who gave my mig an extra chomezone

its bc you are close to the map border

once you fly a bit inwards the map wont be offset anymore

Yeah, that was what we were talking about, UB 9.51 and UBM 9.53.

Ohhhh, ok thanks

games from yesterday (R-73s carry hard)

So as of now it seems like at high speed 9.15 is among the worst airframe of 13.7, any reason why the aircraft compresses so much yet is unable to retain speed at the same time ??

I mean at low speed it does a pretty alright job but FM right now one hell of a mess (I’d argue it’s kinda worse than base 29 in some ways)
