Hell I love R-73 on 9-13.
There was also third plane (F-16) also by R-73 but simulator replays are broken as always. I like it more than AIM-9M.

But R-73 in general is pretty good at poking people from 3-4 km away

opinion after trying the MiG-29M:
its a bit of a mixed bag, the great things with this plane are its weapon kit with a good ability to mix whatever you want from the great options available with AAMs. good avionics a digital RWR and one of the best mechanical radars with great gimbal limits. And great flight performance it accelerates very quick and can reach high speeds.
major downsides are its horrendous energy retention, even performing small turns will bleed of alot of speed and performing any aggressive turns will basically always drop you below mach 1. Countermeasure count is quite low for its BR with only 60 regular sized CMs, when compared to its American opponent at 13.7 the F-16C with 120 regular sized CMs (Soon fixed pls gib 120cms)

i am waiting for MiG-29K now, hopefully it will be interesting to play, even if we are stuck with 32 flares.
