yeah the low speed control is legitimately a massive upgrade
I picked up the 9.15 because I love the mig-29’s, I know the FM’s were heavily changed back when it was added but I still love them. I typically fly in full real all the time (I like to suffer on controller) because it just feels better than pointer aim and in doing that even with the nerfed FM the migs were always fun and could hold there own. Now the 9.15 is a different monster, it’s rate performance is really good pared with it not wing stalling as bad as the other variants when you pull high aoa (plus this thing can backflip I hope they keep it like this) it’s an animal in the right hands
So is pretty much every single 13.7 in the game
Still an animal, it rips in the DF guns only and with missiles, still takes brain power to play but it rips. Definitely one of my new favorite planes to fly next to the SU’s and honestly except for the backflip ability I feel its flight model is closer to how the 29’s are supposed to be it just feels good
against an average ARB random? Or did you try it against proper opponents with actual knowledge?
probably, but bleed rates are still too high in my opinion, it bleeds the speed like 3rd gen delta wing design, not like 4th generation lifting body airframe
The moment you get into df post 13.0

Btw they moved the point from which flares get released, now they drop from ‘spine’ so model changes soon’ish
They did? Gonna check once I get home, would be based if we gonna get proper 120 countermeasures
Me, scaring the shit out of Eurofighter and Rafale players in 9.19. I kid you not, one Eurofighter literally ran away from me for 5 minuets, it was during the bug when missiles didn’t work 90% of the time so people were forced into gunfights

is there anything that justifies the fulcrum being higher?
Dev’s personal hate for the fulcrum
Gaijin believes that total amount of Fox-3s is a deciding factor at this br and MiG-29M has 2 more. And it’s not premium so it brings gaijin less money
truly a cursed airframe
Another thing is that gaijin really doesn’t like to put 2 versions of the same aircraft family at the same br if one is better than the other (unless it’s premium ofc, looking at you F-4S) and we already have 13.3 MiG-29
Against a competent player flying various aircraft, no offense but just because you struggle with it doesn’t mean it’s a bad aircraft, it has it’s strengths, you have to learn to not pull and keep your speed around 700-800 kmh. The match was also set up in sim, the plane in pointer aim is a bit harder to manage speed even with a key bind to neg g it but in sim controls it’s a lot easier to manage pull to the extent that in all mig-29’s I fly I don’t even use damping in the DF I just use it to fly around
i don’t even have it unlocked. I am just collecting information by asking people in details, no need to be arrogant about this.
Man, you can be a good pilot and still say the plane is bad because it is, even if you have good matches, and I’m telling you from my experience.
This isn’t the case here, but the plane isn’t good, though it’s not bad either, it’s fine. Still, it’s playable in the hands of a good pilot.
I do wonder how the 29M is gonna be in sim.
No arrogance at all, just making a point plus having flown it quite a bit now it is definitely different than the other migs, it bleeds speed realistically depending on aoa. I like how it feels, you can stay fast and maintain a decent sustained turn rate or pull hard and bleed speed very quick then recover the speed rather quickly due to the engines power
I haven’t tried it in sim yet, but it looks like a juicy plane to fly
Sky Boat Supremacy.
All hail the 9.19.
