It’s pretty decent performance for something this small. It takes a single pylon after all.

its gonna be a welcomed especially on the 9.41s since you can just replace one of your R-73s which you dont use 8/10 times

Make it 9/10, for some reason my survival rate with 9.41 is significantly lower than with 9.15

it seems old HMD UI bug is back

what’s next? the Su-27 is an upscaled MiG-29?

I’m gonna sue you for plagiarism

he did not react well to when GitGood said that

but the message just got deleted bc he reacted so well

best i could do. Probably possible with better climbing algorithm.
You probably need to be at around Mach 2 to climb to 18km and be at Mach 1.6 at the end, i was around Mach 1.72 at 16km of altitude and dropped to Mach 1.57 when i reached 18km. But this speed and altitude is unmantainable, have to loose one or the other slowly.

If im not mistaken, demonstrator MiG-35 no.154 is actually a rebuilt demonstrative MiG-29M 9-15. You can tell by the shape of the wings and tail. Production MiG-35 is based off the more modern 9.41/61 airframe, which has bigger wings and a different tail.

Compare this underbelly shot of the 154 vs a production mig-29M (9.61) airframe

You can see that in an earlier picture of the no.154, the tail is more similar to 9.15

Drawing site Colours of the MiG-29. Mikoyan & Gurevich MiG-29 camouflage and painting schemes. European countries, Russia, Asia. MiG-29, MiG-29UB, MiG-29SMT, MiG-29K/KUB, MiG-35 has detailed drawings on MiG-29 variants, which i found helpful in discerning the differences between rebuilt 9.15s and actual 9.41/61 based airframes.

It is made from 9.15 airframe. Airframe 154 to be precise (it even retained the number as you can see).

Yep. One thing for sure is that it explains the compatibility with R-27s, seeing that the 9.15 did have R-27 capability. Sadly production MiG-35s aren’t 9.15s, however, so no R-27s on that end.
