Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-29 Fulcrum - History, Design, Performance & Dissection (Part 2)

Where? Certainly not from the 2004 Indian Project 9-41 export brochure that Gaijin chose to copy-paste onto Russia’s modern domestic 9-41R, even though that exact document explicitly lists export-grade “E” missiles.
I and many others tried to bug report it by providing declassified info, but we just keep being ignored. Apparently, the logic of “the 9-41 sold to India is equal to the domestic 9-41R variant Russia built for their own nation” is more appealing to them than any declassified info we can bring. And I’m obviously not going to leak classified documents just to get banned by Gaijin, especially since they’re the ones rage-baiting us at this point. I’m 100% sure they already know the real capabilities of this specific MiG-29 loadout, but they simply don’t want to make it accurate just to keep it at 13.7 for whatever reason.
Meanwhile, we have the F-15C Golden Eagle with a very “realistic, accurate, and proven” loadout (and I’m obviously being sarcastic) of 12x AIM-120s in game👍🏻

"We CaRe AbOuT ReAliSm AnD SoUrCeS🧐" -Gaijin, whenever it’s a matter of implementing a historically accurate MiG-29 which wouldn’t even mess up the meta

MiG-29M2 on SIAF 2012 with 16 countermeasures pods. @Balta779517-live more and more evidence that the pods are easily interchangeable and technically compatible with every second gen fulcrum airframes

And yet people keep struggling to learn it. But hey, if you want to believe that it is easy and majority of playerbase is just of “special kind”, don’t let me stop you. This conversation will lead to nowhere

I explained twice one reason why people “struggle” to learn it.

The other reason is player mentality, why bother getting gud when you can just progress by basebombing?
Getting gud takes too much effort for many players so they just resort to being lazy bastards forever

And this explanation is only based on your personal experience, excuse me if i find it hard to believe

I have a dream! A world where Gaijin’s executives weren’t personally victimized by a MiG-29 pilot in a past life😵 in all seriousness, i can’t wait for the F-15EX with 50 AIM-120s because why not

The source you used does not mention 8 R-77s on the 9-41R anywhere

Literally go to any discord server and you’ll barely see anyone asking for advice on how to improve same goes for reddit, the forums and so on.
Often people that do try to give advice are somewhat misinformed or just giving you terrible advice as well

The game doesn’t have any good tutorials, people still insist on relying on multipath gacha and 20+km launches still kill people.

Why should i do so? Just because you said it?

Go don’t believe me for all I care, but I suggest trying to do what your name says for once

Well, you did care enough to keep this conversation for several hours, despite me saying that you are free to move on quite a while ago.

And being passive agressive is certainly a mature way to handle a dispute

@ron_23 notice how this MiG-29M2 with this certainly Russian helmet also has this module above HUD

while MiG-35 and MiG-29M2 with Russian HMD (forgot the name) doesn’t have it and instead has a little camera sensor there

so its probably for that then

its the same MiG-29M2 that recived the new HUD and cockpit later aswell

nope its not in the image there

the evidence points there. Question is why Russian 29Ks don’t use Thales HMDs. Remote block on the software? Or they just werent delivered completely?

Nope, this is MiG privately owned airframe for testing with a giant MFD

yeah i saw that aswell probably removed the HMD sensor when they put the new HUD and MFD
