couple things stopping me there
very old flatspin recovery test with a 3/8 scale remote controlled F-15A, made of mostly fiberglass with no engines

Actually F-15 underperforms while F-5/20 overperforms as well.
Rafale is also overperforming according to certain charts alongside with MiG-23’s.
As far as I know it underperforms according to bug report, you should ask the General Lee, he has more knowledge and the one who made the report in the first place.
The MLD manual is not yet public but I think people would find what it states quite interesting.
Elaborate?
The US tested infrared guided sparrows and found them to be fairly useless within our doctrine because IR missiles are generally not fired at targets outside of visual identification ranges iirc.
That is a difference in doctrine then? Afaik atleast in east germany shooting R-23/24T are allowed before visual contact. Which is understandable when combined with CGI and IRST
Thank you for proving my point. Few third generation fighters would keep up with the MiG-23 in a sustained turn, and those that could have massive drawbacks. Like being a harrier.
This person has some weird obsession with the harrier even claiming it outperforms F-15/16s in combat
Hmmm excuse me what the actual fk is he talking about?
It is quite funny in the Razbam discord, harrier channels there is a lot of his arguing with others. He is no doubt very knowledgeable about the plane but damn
Thats why I like multiple designs, bein obsessed with one design can lead you to this kind of problems.
Out of context as usual
I said if an eagle or viper find themselves low altitude in the visual arena with a harrier the fight isn’t as 1 sided as most think.
One single picture doesn’t prove harriers capabilities.
I can also show footages where F4 Phantom dunks on F-15 in BFM training, doesnt mean F-4 has any chance on equal skills.
A sea harrier has a minimum turning circle sub 1000 feet with a combat loadout and has no AOA restrictions
Out of context as usual
Mind you, you were the one acting without context earlier.
I said if an eagle or viper find themselves low altitude in the visual arena with a harrier the fight isn’t as 1 sided as most think.
You said a lot of things and If I could be bothered im sure id be able to find some ridiculous claims youve made in the past
And?
F-15 has insane T/W ratio alongside with insane acceleration, climb rate and loadout.
Again one single aspect doesn’t change the outcome.

Just some examples
Not a good idea to compare twr with a harrier
That’s the context of the hud footage
The write up is in Sharkey wards book
It is considering Harrier cant even utilize its thrust capabilities because of bein subsonic airframe.
F-15 can happily sits at 10k altitude at Mach 1.9 while slinging AMRAAMs to your subsonic Harrier thanks to its overall capabilities.
What can your harrier do in that case, turn around and hope doesnt get splashed by multiple Aim-120’s?

“Why is it so hard for people to understand the harrier […] was plenty able to go toe to toe with the likes of the F-15 due to its unique nature”
This will be my last reply about this because it really doesnt contribute nothing to the MiG-23 post but still.
You’d be out of fuel in what 10 mins?
Have you ever heard CFT’s and Drop tanks?
Oh wait British jets aren’t familiar with CFT’s nor high payload.
