so a few weeks or days ago i talked about in dev server how cause of the squadron ocu being 12.7 its bout time the mig29 got its r73s and r27er removed (+ the fixed FM) and that it would stay 12.7
and well here we are at the live server the ocu is still 12.7 and the mig29 still struggles
there was a bug report on the mig29 that got accepted to fix its underperforming FM that hasn’t been pushed into the live server.
the mig29 really needs these changes its been just the worst 12.7 jet in game
R73+R27R is not game breaking and not overpowered it would be fine at 12.7
so thats all i ask for is just for the ER to be removed of the mig29 and for the fm and r73 to get fixed/added

The 12.7 F16 will surely be 13.0 soon? So justification goes with it.

if got my hands on some interesting documents regarding the Mig-29 FM but i will have to do hours of ingame flight tests to make a bug report
they probably won t care since it s not a priority right now,take your time…i lost hope for any forum fixes
i just need to rile up the russian side of the forum, they are probably the last ppl that somewhat care about the Mig-29
I’m curious how 12.7 stacks up if this change goes through, m2k cs5 vs f16 ocu vs mig29 9-12 and i suppose the f18a is there too.
they re too busy defending the BUK right now,that thing has half the drag of the MICA-EMlike of the new SAMP-T,try creating a thread with images and sources
i would suggest posting the inizial thread made by gaijiin were they suggested the same thing in the “near”(almost 4y ago)future
i rather do the bug reports by my self before someone half-asses it, which will make gaijin disreadard the source

Fixed FM yes. R-73 only for the 9.13 pls, it could be the russian equivalent of the 13.0 Mig-29G. I’d rather keep the 9.12 at 12.7. Then you have the SMT at 13.3.
If we make every 12.7 mig-29 a 13.0 jet I’ll be sad
the problem is that even 9.12 had r73 from its maiden flight,r73 was made for that plane,r60m was made as an artificial nerf,like the tornado GR1 with it s mk101,which are pre production engines,whom never saw service for their performance

But right now 13.0 is too compressed. Mig-29 fares better at 12.7 with the r-60.
One aircraft being 12.7 does not justify moving 11 - 14 13.0s down to 12.7 again to make Mig-29G/etc 12.7 with R-73s.
Do you really want F-14A IRIAF, F-14B, Tornado F3, F-16A [currently 13.0], Mirage 4000, Sea Harrier, J-8F, F-5TH TCU, F-4F ICE, AV-8B Plus, Kfir C10, 2 Viggens, Gripen all to be 12.7 for fairness?
Of course Mig-29’s flight models should be fixed, their thrust curve is incorrect.
That doesn’t mean it should be under-BR’d with R-73s.
you’re wrong here, when mig-29 first entered service it used r-60s, not 73.

I agree that the MiG-29 should get its R-73s, but it should go to 13.0 if it does.
R-73s + R-27ER would be a perfect 13.0 jet
gaijin just needs to raise the max br to 15.0 and we can have the current 12.7 Migs equipped with R-73s + FM fix with no issues with compression
