There used to be an argument about how the MiG-25 and MiG-31 were not fit for this game (particularly the MiG-25), but now they’ve gone and added the most unsuitable jet for this game (F-117). Even if both jets don’t fit the meta due to their role as high-speed interceptors (or extreme range cruise missile lobber in the case of the MiG-31), or even if the MiG-31 cannot receive some of its latest armaments, I think they will be used and enjoyed if added.
Mig-31 would have R-77s and R-73s.
People thinking it would have R-37 are funny.

MiG-31BM with R-37M would be fun, it can used as the 14.0+ alternative to the Phoenix.
The MiG-31M with the AESA/PESA mixed radar with the slightly worse R-37 can also be considered as maybe a premium, iirc that one doesn’t have a cannon.

In all fairness I think they could easily tinker around with the R-37 so that it has a reduced range and make a slightly slower speed and radar responsiveness just so it ain’t a headache to deal with if you’re on the receiving end, I say this but then the Fakour-90 exists so I might just be contradicting myself
