Mig 29s 9-12 and 9-13 need to be reworked

@FeetPics
When I said open canopy provides no tangible audible benefit.*
Why are you misrepresenting my arguments?

I also brought up horizontal visibility being inconclusive.
And I also stated how vertical visibility and rearward visibility are impacted, with direct rearward being impacted less or more based on aircraft.

You’re trying to mess with my memory when I remember all of my stances.

Everyone can see these posts are from 2023: You’re not going to win, dude. I have the receipts for everything.

I stated Mig-29 was better for BVR right here:

First ever post in this topic, no mention of dogfighting at all in the original post, and added in my opinion that Mirage 2000 is a better dogfighter later; including those receipts of me holding that opinion for years.

Whats up? You were the one asking for the 1v1

On a day that I am busy, yes.
I should’ve worded that better. Yesterday and today very busy, it’s why I worded a yesterday statement the way I did:

Should’ve worded it this way as well to account for me being busy, but hindsight.

This is what you said and then proceeded to argue that having your an obstruction directly in your lift vector did not have any tangible negative effects.

So I argued the bar gets in the way when looking back and up in regards to the Saab aircraft.
Thanks for proving that I made that argument.
I do find it funny that the “WTPU” dude is claiming I was wrong about there being a blindspot.

Again, you are refusing to accept clarifications to my admittedly vague statements, and instead are inventing your own takes to project onto me.

You argued at length that it wasn’t a problem and wasn’t one that affected you. In fact your attempted to argue that losing the mirrors was as big of a drawback as having unobstructed view through the lift vector.

This is very common strategy for you where you say something that is very dumb and misses a point. And then you go back and attempt to claim you actually agreed with the objectively correct opinion the whole time and that people couldn’t comprehend your argument.

@FeetPics
I have never used the term “lift vector” nor have made an opinion on the specific maneuver.

Also the fact you look down on everyone that reads my posts says everything about you.
Me mistyping my thoughts is on me.
Me typing vague statements instead of slowing down is entirely on me.

All I can expect from others is to say: “Hey, insert quote here is a vague statement. Could you specify or clarify your thoughts?”

Me saying Mirage 2000 is a superior dogfighter to Mig-29 is an opinion that is over 5 years old, this forum is less than that in age.
Me complaining about exploiters in simulator is an opinion that is 7 years old, this forum is WAY less age than that.

I am not going to change my opinions just because you project takes onto me you want me to believe to feel better about yourself.
I don’t believe the takes you made up, and you will not change that about me.

yeah but then the russian and italien 9-12 will have to be lowerd as well.
But i am not saing your solution is wrong. i tested plaing the mig 29 9-12 at around the BR of 12.3 and i think its realy fair there. in downteers is still faces things that can give it some troble. in midteers a good jet and the only jet i see you have a lot of troble in full upteer is meaby the SU30 AMV with is just broken at its BR.

Man’s devisstated I guess.

Bringing it back to the main topic, the F15A and it’s contemporaries are 12.7 now. The SU33 and 27 are 13.0. Putting the arguably dogshit FM’d Mig29-G and 9-13 to 12.7 isn’t going to hurt anyone. Remove the ERs from the 9-12s, give them R73s and put them at 12.3 and see how they fare.

The developer should have done this from the very beginning. On the other hand, ER is compensation for a poor radar and a small number of missiles on an MIG-29.
Besides, the R-27R is worse than the AIM-9P/F. And the Hornet has at least four of them. The Hornet has an advantage in dogfights, it has the best radar at its tier, and it has a better RWR. Don’t you think it’s a bit unfair to take away the 27ER from the MiG-29?

I can’t even imagine what kind of noise will start when the ER is taken away from the Sniper.
