I’d like to get your opinion on the MiG-29G’s placement at 13.0. Considering the Su-33/J-11 are at the same BR and all F-15As are at 12.7—despite having better or similar loadouts (AIM-9M/AAM-3) and higher missile counts—it feels unbalanced. I’m not asking for more compression, but a fair re-evaluation of its BR.
MIG29 on 12.7 would be the best thing that happend in a while
+1 for BR decompression, keeping the MiG-29G at 13.0, but moving the Flankers an their equivalents up to 13.3 and moving every 13.3+ plane up by 0.3.
However, if the F-15A can be 12.7, I don’t see how an arguably worse plane can also be 12.7. However I’d rather both be 13.0 in order to not compress the game more.
Good point, but the MiG-29 (9-12) is at the same BR as the F-15A, which doesn’t make much sense considering the F-15 has AIM-9Ms and AAM-3s. The only things the MiG has going for it are the HMD and the R-27ERs.

Do you realize that those “small” advantages you’re talking about basically turn every aircraft equipped with AIM-7 into a joke from early game all the way to mid game?
AIM-9M and R-73 have different IRCCM systems, which means these two missiles perform well under different conditions. It’s not a case of the R-73 being better than the AIM-9M or vice versa.
If you play the way I do — avoiding dogfights unless it’s absolutely forced into a 1v1 at the endgame — then the MiG-29G is only worse than the F-15A in terms of RWR.
I see your point, and I think both aircraft (F-15J and MiG-29G) are fine at 13.0. For me, the main problem is simply the Su-33 being at the same BR as the MiG-29G.
These are my own stats, which obviously aren’t comparable to global averages, but for me, the difference is like night and day.
From the moment it was introduced, the F-15A was never on the same level as the Su-27/Su-33 in ARB. Being pushed down to 12.7 is simply the result of long-term compression that ruined its performance stats.
su-27/su-33 would go to 13.3 in a perfect world but that’s never happening without decompression.

Yep 13.0 was fine for both Mig-29G and F-15A/J/Baz, the real issue now is the Mig-29 (9-13) with R-60Ms at the same BR as those F-15s. With the last max BR increase the Su-27/33 should have gone to 13.3 and the premiums Su-30s to 13.7 and the F-15s stayed at 13.0.
MiG-29G is just never going to be good until decompression. You can’t put it at 12.7 because 2x R-27ER and 4x R73 is still better than 4x/4x 9m/7m and the F-15 is already undertiered as is. The better solution is to give the 12.7 MiG-29s R-73 but remove their R-27ER
I mean, no? You can avoid R27ERs, I believe in you. The MiG-29 has two of them and once they’re gone the jet is useless (regarding the 12.7 MiG-29s). The F-15 is effective for 8 missiles vs the MiG-29’s 2.
Uhm, it’s got a dreadful FM in comparison and the RWR is not to be understated how much worse it is.
And lets not forget noticably less CMs.

In simulator battles it’s already in line of being 12.7, especially considering what is already found both at 12.7 (like F-15A, F-16A OCU, neither of which will go up any time soon, as well as mentioning the soon to be Yak-141 with R-73s) and 13.0 (F-2 ADTW). If the MiG-29G went down to 12.7 in sim, it wouldn’t even be the worst offender, given it would still be outclassed in one or more ways.
Alternatively, they could give R-73s to the already existing 9.12 and 9.13 MiGs already present at 12.7, though it doesn’t seem to be a priority in Gaijin’s plans.
Get rid of the ERs and nothing would stop it from going 12.7 maybe even 12.3

Это кошмар когда вы на стоковом истребителе с Р27Р1 и Р73 против су 27 , су 30 мкк/мк2 , су 33, f 16 и f15 (с aim 120 a-c5). На этом самолете просто отвратительно сейчас играть в АРБ и в АСБ … Пока его качал из стока слил 0.6 кд :) Улиткам срочно нужно переделывать БР в АРБ и АСБ начиная с 11.0 и до 14.7 .
